Does anyone know where I could buy a copy of the game for a decent price? I've been checking around the net, and the cheapest I've ever found it was around 60 dollars. Anyone know where I could get it for say 25-35?
 
You WON'T get it for $25 to $30, unless of course you manage to stumble upon a yard sale where some poor fool is selling it cheap because he doesn't realize how much it goes for. As a matter of fact, you're getting off cheap if you can find it for only $60.

Sorry to shatter your dreams of getting it cheap, but if you want it you're going to pay out the ass for it no matter what.
 
I sold mine for 30 bucks :P

Otherwise, look on auction sites, put a posting on craigslist, etc. ya might find one.
 
eBay. Found lots of cheap copys there, including unopened copys. Can't remember the exact price tag but I know it wasn't a silly price like most people argue about.

And just too gloat. There is a couple of preowned copies in my local game store going for a tenner. Both in good nik.
 
Yeah, even those used FFVII games costs around 40 - 80 bucks, but I'm very paranoid when it comes to used games, so I bought a NEW copy for 127 bucks. Ebay is really your best bet, or you can try amazon too.
 
Try ebay or Amazon, that's where I got all mine from. Just keep your eyes peeledand you might get lucky and find a cheaper one, that's what I did :monster:

Although I think they might actually be cheaper over here, Iv never seen them going for that much, like ever :gasp:

Innit, I always find them for no more than £20 around here :gasp: It's because we are British and made of pure win.

Haha, its funny, I was looking on ebay all last night, and I found a copy for only 18 bucks! Thats right, 18 bucks, and the only catch is that it's in Japanese :sad:

Ew I wouldn't pay that much for a platinum game, I got mine for a tenner and it was the black label one

I wouldn't even pay a tenner for platinum :wacky:

Im just a tight arse though, it pays to keep looking, it took me aaaaages to finally get mine, but it was worth it in the end :monster:
 
eBay, as has been said. I got my copy for £12. Excellent bargain, as opposed to £20 in Forbidden Planet.

In $$$, that's around $24.

Are there any like, 2nd-hand games shops near you? Gamestation and Chips always have at least 3 copies of FFVII for £12.99, as well as FFVIII and IX. So I really don't get how people have such difficulty finding the games xD

Although, eBay and amazon are the best bet, but I wouldn't pay too much for the game, since some prices are just ridiculous =/
 
I haven't seen it in the shops for years round here, well, all three of them really.

The only thing I saw was toys r us had an absolute STACK of FFVIII's about 4/5 years ago, oh how I wish I had bought them all and flogged them on ebay, they were only 8 quid each D;
 
I managed to find a good Quality second hand copy in game that only cost me lik 12/13 pound so i was exstatic at ze bargain i had found

Hah, we actually asked if there was a copy of FFVII at three different Gamestop stores and the people there looked at us as if we were nuts. FFVII is so rare nowadays, so I'm not surprised that people are having a hard time looking for a copy for a fairly decent price.
 
Aww, poor dear. As for me: I have my original copy I recieved back in 97. I also have another copy I bought at Best Buy, around three or four years ago, for like fifteen bucks - brand new. I made sure I had two copies just in case something happened to one or the other. It's a rare game and hard to find and if anyone does have any copies to sell - they'll con you by asking three times as much as they should. Of course, there are good deals, here and there. You just have to search and search, I suppose. Ebay is probably the best bet, there.
 
Like a dumba** I gave all my PS1 games including FF7 and FF8 to my sister. She doesn't play them but refuses to give them back now.

A co-worker of mine said (and showed) me a copy of FF7 (green stripe) still factory sealed he bought back in the day but then found out what kind of game it was... never opened it.

I asked to buy it and offered him $10 thinking he wouldn't know. He checked ebay and needless to say, I didn't buy it after that.
 
lol yeah I saw some factory sealed ones on ebey for like 300 US Dollars and I was like WHAT?!?! Crazy. even the Greatest hits (Or green stripe as it was called earlier) was like 60 factory sealed.

Considering games can go for over 100 bucks for unopened copy.
One i got, Suikoden 2, sells for like 150 on ebay last I saw, not bad, but i'm keeping mine till i'm old and cranky, maybe it'll be worth enough then to retire on XD.
