I haven’t seen a Thread of any of these games yet which shocks me, so I took it upon myself to create one
CRASH BANDICOOT 1 (PLAYSTATION1)
Crash Bandicoot one, I remember when i first got my PSone and i had a demo it had this game on it, (and a T-rex model thing...) and i loved it! the amount of times ive played that rolling stones level! ugh to many now lol but then a few months later we finally bought the game.
The game its self is a satisfying challenge its more difficult than the other 2 Psone adventures because if your trying to collect the Gems you have to go through the level with out being killed,you cant respawn at a checkpoint and continue because at the end of the level it just wont say anything. The Boss fights are brilliantly entertaining,I especially love the N.Brio boss fight where he turns into that huge green Frankenstein creature. I’d say that this is the first proper 3D platform game (certainly for me anyway) and it was a brilliant success.
CRASH BANDICOOT 2: CORTEX STRIKES BACK (PLAYSTATION1)
The 2nd Crash Bandicoot Game and what a treat!, It introduces so much to the series like The new Warp Rooms, new moves such as skid, belly flop and High jump (where you crouch and jump. crouching is new to).but also there are so many fun levels, you have the polar bear riding levels a pretty much polished version of wild hog on crash 1,but later on in the game it goes further having you run for your life on a polar bear being chased by a massive polar bear, which i find still one of the best moments in gaming ever. i also love the last Boss fight its just a classic epic battle (easy but just so epic).
The game is much easier than Crash 1,due getting the gems even if you die, but its such a fun game even if it is the easiest out of the 3 psone games.
CRASH BANDICOOT 3: WARPED!
Crash 3 once again the series develops further now every time you beat a boss you again a special ability for crash like super spin double jump or even a bazooka!, also there’s another new collectable item, time relics, its basically a time trail mode for the levels, though you can freeze the clock by hitting time boxes in the level. also what i like on this game is the little scenes between the warp room and levels how they have the blue warp background and the characters head while they speak it adds a bit of character development which is nice.
The game its self like the previous 2 it has nice controls and interesting boss fights. like on 2 there is a warp room and also a secret are with 5 other levels, you can unlock each level buy getting 5 time relics each time you get 5 you unlock another level.
There’s only one problem with this game for meant that’s that you use coco to much.....its a minor problem i know but i just don’t like her other than that the games perfect.
CRASH TEAM RACING (PLAYSTATION 1)
Crashes First Game Away from Platform to a racing game with perfection. seriously, the tracks are perfect for this kart game and the game is the best multiplayer game ive ever played if you have 4 friends and a multi-tap and this game your guaranteed for entertainment, ive spent many nights battling it out with my friends it creates such a brilliant atmosphere and also there’s a battle mode where you go around these area and have to kill each other (like twisted metal),seriously if you want 4 player fun buy this game!
The game had many of your favorite characters from the series and many to unlock while playing the single Adventure mode I think they did pick the best cast for the game.
as for the one player game itself its very entertaining yes the story mode is easy, but the time trial mode beating the oxide ghosts is not so easy and a very worthy challenge, sadly you do not unlock Oxide but to be honest im glad it would be very cheeky on 4 player mode.
Some complain its a rip off of Mario Kart but i tell you this it far surpasses any Mario kart game.

The First Crash Game without the Naughty Dog Creators, this is a party game being so its obviously made for multiplayer, and with multiplayer its a very fun game with some interesting levels like the box throwing and polar push levels, though 1 player games seem less entertaining and a bit dull and later on in the Cash Bash Adventure Mode very difficult, ill be honest i haven’t completed this game like the 255% its meant to add up to but ive played enough to know what the game is like its a fairly good satisfying game.2 player adventure is rather fun tough i cant see many people completing it one 2 player co-op its a very difficult long game.
I haven’t played it for a while i think i may pick it up and play it again soon just to remind me of how it was and hopefully go to complete it fully!.
CRASH BANDICOOT: THE WRATH OF CORTEX (XBOX,PS2,GC)
Now the 1st Crash Adventure game without Naughty Dog. ill be honest with you its not as good as the 3 previous adventures, I dislike the characters design they have silly eyes and faces, look at TINY! the fierce expression has completely gone and the same with cortex.
Also another think that bugs me is the pace, crash seems slower on this game and when he jumps i always expect him to go further than he does which makes me very clumsy on the game. there the main things that bug me apart from that the games fairly enjoyable. i like the Crush Battles and how they've added a lot of machines on the game to use.
The games much more difficult than the previous 3 well for me it is though that could be for the more animation team and how crash doesn’t move how i like him to so its quite challenging for me at least.
Also i think its fair to note that the PS2 version had long loading times, I have the platinum (Greatest Hits) version which apparently the loading has been cut down it must have because ive never been bothered by it, but that’s just a warning.
Overall the games fun to play, worth the buy if a crash fan but just be prepared that its not as good as the previous 3.
CRASH NITRO KART (PS2,XBOX AND I THINK GC)
Okay im sorry to offend anyone who likes this game but it is POOR!, its horribly slow! and the new cast is lame. i really don’t have much positive to say about this game apart from the level art is good and interesting, but this game really does need more speed into it.
Just go play Crash Team Racing on the PS1 its far mre entertaining in everyway!
CRASH TWINSANITY (PS2,XBOX AND IS IT ON GC?)
Crashes Next Adventure and........a pleasant surprise i must say. the creators have really brought back life to the characters. I love how they've made cortex and crash forced to work together i cant think of this been done before in gaming(though i could be wrong).The Characters themselves have been changed to a more cartoon style, though for this game it does work. The best new thing about this game is the new humor involved every scene is full of laughs cortex is especially funny. though i love how they crate these scenes and then base the next "level" off of the previous scène, well this game has scraped the level and warp room system its more like an RPG going around to areas but instead of there being battles and training you just get the normal crash adventure ,which i find interesting.
with all the brilliant new features to the game there are a few minors, you’ll notice that on the game there are many lives spread out the area, the reason is you die a lot on the game lol. also when you backtrack to an area it gets quite confusing because you will go into that areas "level" and go through the cut scenes which and sometime lead going through many levels again to get to the part you were at so when playing the game DONT! backtrack for gems until you get to the end! .Also this minor is just for my part the game makes cortex seem childish, now i know its based for children but on the first few games Cortex was a terrifying villain and i personally like that part of him more. Also i personally didn’t like the soundtrack...i found it annoying.
Overall though the games fantastic by far the best PS2-gen Crash game. I love the new game play and humorous scenes and the new take on crash is very interesting.
CRASH OF THE TITANS (MANY FORMATS)
The Next Crash Game, so far ive heard what you can hijack enemies on the level (Like stealing cars on GTA) and ride on them through out the level. though i don’t like the design of the characters at all just look at Crash and Cortex! AND THE MASKS! And has CRUSH gone on a diet? it looks bad to me

) with only Crash 4 being the only PS2 title I actually like. Though saying that I do find Twin Sanity quite fun.
