 Anyone ever been on a cruise before?

I've seen a dozen episodes on the Travel Channel about cruises and my do they look fun and entertaining. It looks relatively peaceful and I'd want to go on one someday, but I have no idea what the price tag is gonna be. The other thing I noticed is that the ships only stop at port for less than a day. :(
How sad.

I've never been on a cruise before. I wouldn't mind going on one such as the Disney Cruise line. (Shut up I like Disney.) Anyways, the reason why my family refuse to go on one because of all the horror stories my mom heard.

Agggghhh!! I've always wanted to go on a cruise :( I think it would be awesome. For some reason though, my dad is seriously against cruises.

The closest thing I've ever gone on that resembled a cruise was an all day boat excursion to three different Greek islands. It was easily the most amazing day of my life >_> Omg, it was amazing and gorgeous. I would LOVE to go on a long cruise that tours the Mediterranean. The only type of cruise I wouldn't wanna go on is one that doesn't really go anywhere and is just very expensive because the cruise ship is all fancy and nice. I think I would get really bored being trapped on a ship like that.

No and both me and my gran want to go on one.But the horror stories Ive heard put me right off! Rape, thieft, people falling over board, etc.

My and my girl went on one, very relaxing and all you ever get is food, food and more food. Breakfast, 2nd Breakfast, Dinner, Tea, Supper, Barbacues, snacks. I think I put on a stone afterwards.

I came close to going on one, but my parents decided to go overseas instead - which I'm truly thankful for.

The thought of being confined on a cruise ship for a week really isn't all that appealing for me. As large as the ship is, it would still be way too confining for my comfort. Anyway, the largest ship I've been on was crossing the English Channel during a Gale Storm... That was a load fun I don't care to ever do again.

I don't think I ever want to go on a cruise, I have only heard bad things lol. There was a big story over here a while back about a woman being raped and killed on a cruise so.. I think I will be alright if I don't go on one! They probably aren't all like that but still, no thank you. Cruises don't really interest me.

I don't know if I could stand being on a cruise. Just though thought of being stuck on a ship, no matter whats on it or how huge it is just really disturbes me.

The only type of cruise I would go on is like a cruise to visit several of the caribbean islands so it doesn't feel like I'm trapped all the time

Er no. Honestly, I'm a chicken when it comes to boats and such. Plus I've heard stories in Cali where they would just throw people overboard or something. It was all over the news a few years ago...

But overall, I think it would be neat to go on one. I just don't wanna do it though. =/

I have been on a cruise to the Bahamas once in 2nd grade. My tips are to ALWAYS use your time wisely because it is gone before you can even blink. My parents spent too much time in ratty little shops looking for random junk that catches their eye. The aesthetic beauty of the islands does make up for it though. So if you ever get the opportunity to take a cruise somewhere I encourage you to go.

EDIT: As far as I know there are no occurances of rape/theft/walking the plank you guys are talking about. Maybe you shouldn't go on North Korean Waterways Inc?
