Ever danced before? Are you good at it? Interested in learning how to?

I used to dance way back when in elementary school. It's after watching youtube videos of my brothers yesterday that I realized how much I miss it. It was always fun, with people cheering you on, and doing it as a group with my classmates was a riot. Too bad I gave it up after my 4th grade teacher yanked me out of the lineup for a big performance. Maybe I'd be pretty good today. :awesome:

I've never been one to break-dance though. Most Filipinos I know on here have dance crews/break-dance dance crews that it's insane. I'd like to learn some break-dance if I slim up enough. :ohoho:

Ok in real life I wouldnt admit this. But back when i was in high school I took 3 years of dance classes for swing and tap. But I also enjoy salsa dancing...mostly because its easy.

I find the world is easier for a man who is not afraid to dance..because in general most women love to dance lol

Oh and also....Micheal jackson Hhas got nothing on me. I am a very good self taught break dancer. I can do the windmill and even run off of a wall and do a backflip...just like jackie chan. I get down and tear down clubs when I start up ^^. TNT comes in small packages hehe

No, I'm a straight white man, therefore I'm horrible at dancing, and I have no desire to try. I'm not even a big fan of it at all. In all reality, I find it silly. I watched a dance show one time and saw everyone moving in perfect harmony...

And I didn't give a fuck. :mokken:

I hate dancing because I can't dance and I look like an idiot when I try.

Not really a fan of people looking at me up on the dance floor or wherever it may be.

Maybe if I was good at it I wouldn't mind but I'm not so it's never going to happen. XD

Not really interested in learning how to either.

Maybe for my wedding in five years time but not now.

Well honestly Im a straight white man too. But that doesnt mean I cant move like liqued fire ^^. Thats a poor stereotype to white men because regardless if some can't there are always those who can. My girlfriend loves going to the club with me in beijing....Those people love a good dancer and think its totally hot. And I think it makes my girlfriend excited when I can dance with her or breakdance solo. It makes other girls want to dance with me and makes her so protective to the point where she is an animal afterwards and I have to work even harder at the end of the night than when I was actually dancing hehe.

Until two years ago, I was going to rave parties almost every month. I love to dance on psytrance, trance, drum&bass. I wasn't taking any speed or extacy so I couldn't dance 4 yours straight like some people does. It was fun and I developed my own style of dance with time. There's no particular way to dance on this kind of music, everyone does what he feels like doing, nobody looks like an idiot.

Aside of that, I dance sometimes when I go clubbing but I don't really like house music or R&B. I also danced a few slows with girls in high school or at parties. That's about it.

Does busting out the moves on the dancefloor after afew bevvies count..?

If so then I dance. Badly :mokken:

I have NO coordination, so I just jump about. I enjoy myself though, so who cares :wacky:

I dance all of the fucking time (maybe because I'm a gay black girl? [comparing to Ringo's reference] :wacky: Dunno.). Since I was born, if there was a song that I really liked, I would not be able to hold still or sit down. Especially when I'm with my friends. I see it as a physical form of expressing myself without a care in the world. I can either freestyle (majority of the time) or I can do whatever I've learned in my past dance classes, whether its at home, a dance/rave club, or just anywhere that I feel like moving.

I did ballet, tap, and jazz when I was little from about the age 7 to the age of 13 and I loved it. I was sooooooo nervous when I did my first ballet solo in front of an actual audience. So I guess I was good at dancing when I was younger.

Nowadays I don't do it unless I have to. I think it would be fun to take ballroom dancing classes someday or go back for more ballet lessons, but I haven't the money or the time for that now, so that will have to wait for a bit. Nothing stops me from dancing around in my underwear to the occasional good song when no one is home though :monster:

No. :ness:

I lack the confidence required to express myself on the dance floor. Even when people say "don't give a damn, it is only a laugh and everyone else looks like a fool too" I just can never bring myself to do it. I just feel so much like an idiot, and I know that even if I tried to do it I'd go up with this in mind, and then look like an even bigger idiot than people could ever imagine.

People have tried to get me up dancing in the past, and it has never ended well. Either I half-heartedly attempt to lift an arm up to start, get embarrassed and then walk away or just stand there, or I just stand there anyway - and then slowly back away after I watch the excitement fade into disappointment on everyone's faces because I'm just genuinely not that cool.

I guess I'm ok with my legs, as I use these for walking, and it's not much of a difference. Sadly I don't know of many leg-only dances, and if there were I wouldn't do them anyway as it'll probably no longer resemble a walk then. :brooding: I can do one dance which people used to drag me up to do, and that was one where everyone got into a circle and kicked their legs out. If anything involved arms and any sort of rhythm / anything other than the legs being kicked out (not the can-can :brooding:) then I'm screwed and I go into my broken-toy mode. :brooding:

As for serious dancing... No. :sad2: I'd probably feel more comfortable with something a little slower and tamed, but I'd rather not do anything like that in public anyway.

As for folk / cultural dancing... I love to watch it, but I'd probably faint if I was ever dragged up to take part in it. :rage:

When I'm on my own, though, I'm a true Boogie Beast. When no-one is watching me I dance quite a bit... Probably to make up for my lack of expression in public. :brooding:

I dance to be silly in stores sometimes, but it tends to embarrass most people :sad3: But, I still do it anyway :D As far as regular dancing though, I'm not particularly good :hmmm: I started trying to learn to bellydance at one point, and am planning on pursuing it when I'm not so busy, but it is a lot more difficult than it looks :lew:

I like to dance. Don't mean i'm good at it though. >_>

When I dance though it's usually to myself. I don't really 'bust a move' thing more like the simples of dancing xD

I hate sitting and listening to music... I can't just stand still. I have to move around. Music isn't meant to be stiff and boring. Of course certain songs... because well sad music you dont wanna get up and start fist pumping do you?

I really enjoy doing it even though i'm not so good. I'm just that type of person who feels the need to dance to a certain beat or maybe not dance but, move around.

this is me all over. i only dance when drunk, and i know it's bad but i honestly don't care. i'm drunk and so is everyone else, and no one else is all that much better anyway by that point. it's all about enjoying yourself.

Yeaaah boy you sound like me I rip shit up when I'm raving master of lockin and poppin come at me bro

I only dance when I'm pissed for the fact I know I can't dance. But when you're with a group of people who are all drinking too or at a club no one cares since pretty much everyone is in the same boat. In fact, when you get the videos on facebook via the actual club of that night, you find that people who actually can dance stand out more than people who can't. :wacky:

I've been breakdancing since I was about 12 but my training hasn't been particularly intense or consistent so I'm not amazing at it. I've done a fair few public performances with it though so I'm not that shy about dancing in public anymore.

I never break when I'm in a club though simply because the floor is generally dirty as shit and I don't want to get my hands and back dirty, also it's usually too crowded and I don't want to hit anyone by accident and finally because I don't like to look like a show off. I'm quite happy to dance without any real tricks or floor work though, so I always dance when I'm out.

I was forced to dance in school. But when I did dance, I totally pwned that sh..... Well anyway, I was better than I thought. I'm probably gonna end up dancing again, but it's all good yo.
