Dark Knight

Loved it. Too bad the guys dead, just think of all the other joker appearances that could have been made in this new series of batman films.

Mate was saying something about them not showing the chemical pool thing, how jokers face is always like that, and the chelsea smile thing.
Two face doesn't die either in the other version if I remember, he partners up with joker instead.

Still heath plays the psychotic clown very well and Maggie Gyllenhall... is good eye candy as well :P
 
You should see the 89 one, and im glad they didnt go back with the chemcical thing, its been done 20 years ago, i loved how they give the joker no origon, makes him a much better character and him teaming up with 2 face is not really what happens

I want to see this movie but it has yet to arrive to my country.

It has done $423,111,000 at the box office in 22 days, will it topple Titanic's $600,788,188 to claim the crown?

I doubt it, but who knows?
 
The movie totally lived up to it's hype but Christian Bale didn't get anywhere near the amount of praise he should have had, apart from his voice when he was playing as Batman he was far superior to Ledge in all aspects of acting. Yes, Ledger was amazing as the Joker but Bale was totally unreal.

I guess..it is technically a remake gotta change somethings. Whats the deal with two face then in the other one?
 
Yeah i have seen this movie twice in the movie theaters and all I have to say is orgasmic. Both lead Ledger and Bale played great roles and worked to make this movie a instant hit. Now i cant wait for the next one, and to see who will be the new villian. I hoping riddler atm.

I really didn't think it did. It was a pretty decent film, but definitely wasn't as good as people are making it out to be. I didn't really think Ledger was as good as The Joker as everyone says either. Towards the end he was, but at first he just didn't seem comfortable in the role. If anyone deserves an Oscar for their performance, it's the guy who played Harvey Dent (Richard something?) He really shone for me.
 
The guy who played Dent is Aaron Eckhart. And I agree he deserves far more credit than is being given to him. He was Godly in this.
 
Ooo yeah Harvey Dent.
Him being the white knight to two faced was epic
. He really did a great job and his face was gory, but i liked it. Sadly we wont be seeing him in any more batman movies.

Since my mother was being such a difficult wench, I grabbed the HDTV in the living room and I just watched it online.

The movie was not as good as I was expecting it to be, but at least Joker didn't disappoint. I was also really impressed with Harvey Dent. Biggest downside to the film would probably have to be the apparent lack of insane joker. =(

I don't know if I fell asleep while I was watching the movie, but I don't even recall seeing joker with a rocket launcher, like in the trailers. >=(
 
It wasn't as good as I was expecting, which serves me right for believing the hype, I suppose. Mr. Ledger was indeed spectacular as the Joker but Christian Bale disappointed me severely, he made a great Bruce Wayne but he was a crappy, crappy Batman.

I'd give this move a 4/5.
 
I loved this movie!

We went and saw it at the drive in movies and I fell in love with Heath Ledger as the joker.

He did such a scary and brilliant job at it!

Christian Bale was pretty good too, though not who I'd envision as a decent Batman.

Other than that this movie is awesome!
 
I remember going to see this in IMAX and we got in for free because my friend's brother was working there at the time. It was certainly one of the best films I saw that year! It was a big step up from Batman Begins, which I felt lacked something. Whatever it is was, well, it got inputted into The Dark Knight and made it fantastic for me.
