The CGI is just too... UGH! annoying for me to like it. The storyline is... well, in my honest opinion, lame. But that's just me.

I think it's cool the fan did that but eh... it's not my thing. The story seems way too cliche and overrated for me to take it seriously.

Lmao... i just rewatched the last video... Tifa wishes she was slightly as cool as the "tifa" in that fight scene with the poles.

to end this, the CGI is too ugo for me to even watch it.

Ehh, I thought the CGI was amazing especially coming from a fan. o_o Of course the graphics can't be equal, this one guy(and his small team?) vs. an entire company that's mastered CGI cut-scenes blended into a movie. By that end I can say AC now looks pretty bad compared to Uncharted/Battlefield 3/ etc. Anyways, the fights in Dead Fantasy were more frantic than Advent Children and it basically doesn't need a story. It's more of how a fight with characters from the DOA+ FF series would look like. Not like FF:AC addition to the FFVII storyline added much other than the Geostigma and a mandatory Sephiroth fight.

I'm loving the general idea and the fighting choreography is just as insane as Advent Children! (The girls just don't die!)

Didn't really like the fourth DF though, the intro was a complete copy to FF8 and i'm not liking how Yuna got close with Cloud. Also, why is Tifa the only who gets absolutely destroyed and who is the Hwoarang look alike in DF V?

Overall though i give DF a 9/10 although if Monty Oum isn't careful this series will become a chick flick

That's what I thought! It looked just like Hwuoarang! And I also agree with the Yuna/Cloud thing. It's sorta awkward.

But I still love the series, he said in March that he has been working on 8. He's releasing all 3 at the same time. (I'm pretty sure at least)

xD A friend and I saw up to the 3rd one last night and I gotta say -- this is VERY IMPRESSIVE for just ONE man to be making all of it!

I love how there's no plot whatsoever just FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT. xD This was Dissidia before Dissidia existed. Sorta. :\

I gotta say, I've always hated Yuna's character. But Dead Fantasy made me love her, just for the gunplay. The haste/slow effects were pretty bitchin', I have to admit. I found that was awesome. Haste + Rapid gunfire = Ah, if only it were like that in the game, I might've actually cared if Yuna died or not.

And finally, Tifa gets done some justice! She should've had action like this in AC. Come on -- she got cheated in that movie. An entire movie genre is made around martial arts, and she got what, two minutes out of the whole movie? Lame. I was definitely geeking out when I saw her kicking some ass.

But... HOW is it that the one chick (Hitomi?) can get her head planted through stone, blasted with fire, lightning, graviga AND ultima and not break so much as a fingernail? But when in the one-on-one, Tifa gets the living shit beat out of her?

Something doesn't seem right. I smell a lame excuse to get some bra-exposure. I also sense that miffed a lot of people to judge by the comments.

I was rather miffed that Tifa got all the materia beaten out of her. I thought materia was kinda hard to remove on account that it was, like, MELTED INTO YOUR FLESH. But hey, whatever. The DMC soundtrack was simply awesome. Here's to hoping another familiar figure shows up later on.

I'm still in awe of how much is really going on in these things. You have to slow it down just to appreciate all the moves and reactions that's going on. This is why I love this guy's stuff, he always has a huge amount of detail and fun in his works.

I totally agree with you, i'd like to think the reason he did it was so that in future episodes he can have her make a comback. He needed at least one character to get hurt at some point lol. I guess he choose Tifa because she was one of the favorate characters. Hopefully he did it to draw some sympathy for her and then when she kicks some more ass it'll be all the more enjoyable.

Well I gotta say, even though Tifa did get beaten, it took an entire army of ninjas with swords and arrows to take her down! Pretty impressive!

And oh my gosh that would be AMAZING! Whether you like her or not, you gotta admit it would be pretty awesome to see some girl in a long dress jump around with a long metal staff kickin some ass I could so picture her dodging all those attacks and her staff spinning super fast However I think he's only gonna pick girls with outfits that are flexible...

I'd like to see Yuffie at some point. Yuffies is beast, she could pwn everybody. GO NINJA YUFFIE!

I actually wanted Yuffie. And Aerith. That would look pretty cool you have to admit! But then it would basically be FF7 dominating over. Personally I didn't really want Cloud to come in, I like seeing all the females batting it out. But of course it's to come save Tifa.

I want to see Penelo. Don't ask why, I just do. I liked her outfit, and Mounty of course is picking girl with movable outfits. I could definitely see Penelo gettin' in there.
