Defeating Sephiroth

Cast Sheild all, then Knights of the round, afterwards mimic and then cast Ultima...Its really quick easy and the fastest way I know possible to kill Sephiroth off. Due to the fact that I also played it alot and beat Sephiroth alot I've gotten use to this tatic

I remember my party was Cloud, Tifa, and Vincent and I had almost half of my all my Materia equiped and I kiled him lol

It'd take too long to explain it all, but here's basically how I beat him. I had cure-all for everyone, and had tifa with regen-all, and wall-all. I had Cloud use 2 times cut a bunch and used alot of bahamut and hades spells and I had life-2 which i thankfully only had to use once. That Super Nova summon Sephiroth used was way too long, though it looked cool. I really didn't have a problem with him. I just basically used Cloud, Tifa, and Barret and Tifa and Barrett got to use their level 4 limit breaks once each and Cloud used Meteorain twice I think. Overall, Sephiroth wasn't too hard.

Eeek, I don't remember since I was so kid xD, haha, about 10 years or 11? Aah, don't remember, but my brother helped me too xD. *The only thing I remember was when we died... yes :P* so we trained the characters, like 10 levels more, it was hard, but anyways, we won. At that time I didn't used guides. Then I used to get the Knights of the Round Materia and all that cool materia, we trained our party to the level 99, and got all their limits and last weapons. *And we tried to multiplitate that Materia, but only we got the 3rd start >>U so hard lol*
Who was in our party?
Of course Yuffie and Cid :) We felt the cool power of easyness lol.

Party: Cloud, Vincent & Cid

Strategy: I simply cast Regen on the whole party and protect, then simply cast Bolt 3 over and over again, it did the trick because I killed Seph really easy. I also used a few Summons but it didnt do that much damage.

I guess they want to give Sephiroth a slow agonizing death, lol obviously TSG u would want to give Sephiroth a quick painless death.

this is what you should do. The first time do it without KotR and stuff like that so you can have a fun time and a hard time beating him. Then on your 2 up time use all out total pwnage. Thats also fun but not as rewarding but still extrmly fun. Cloud, vicent,Xlll

Similar to, if not the same as, SOD: Beat the game first with KOTR, it is better to know the outcome. If you still feel willed to take on Sephiroth and win first time, or finish all the side-quests, then do it.

What level were you guys when you beat it? I had played it before, but had never finished it and was like level 76 or something. I just beat it at level 61 and it was pretty easy. I would have leveled up and probably tried to get KOTR but I got the Premium Heart for Tifa and I dont' know why the game did it to me, but when I had it equipped to her she would max out at around 200 damage with or without materia. Then I'd switch to something weaker like the Crystal Glove and she'd do like 2,000 or something?????? That pissed me off enough to just finish the game.

YOU CAN NOT DEFEAT SEPHIROTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yes you can. Its a game.
what did I say about talking? SO SHUT UP!

What the heck have you been sniffing, Vincent?

I didn't spend time TRYING to level up, I spent my time training chocobos to get KOTR. I think I was around level 50 or something with Cloud, Tifa and Red.

supperoth

i found this guy to be far the easiest boss to beat in the game...there is no challenge here....all you really need is cure 3 and all and this guy is a joke...doesnt matter what combination of materia you have...even the first time i played this game Sephiroth died when i was on level 42 or so...geez :P

Bumping archaic topics isn't much fun :(

I wouldn't say Sephiroth was "easy". If you don't have the right combinations of Materia and equipment, you will surely perish. I assume we are all talking about Safer Sephiroth, right?

Are you trying to say all you had on your Materia slots was a single "Cure3"? I don't believe that for one second.

lol

well sure if you dont have the right combination than any boss is tough but thats the joy of the game to learn what combination works...........but if you maxed out your characters limit breaks such as omnislash no boss is gonna be tuff anyway thats why it was easy for me..........probs wouldnt be easy for everyone though.........since everyone has a different strategy........such as mime and KOTR to beat Emerald or Omnislash to beat the creature that you have to beat b4 you fight Jenova......like ive said i never had the strategy guide and did things in a different order than the book said to beat those 2 pain in the arses desert rose and emerald.........for christ sakes i never even had the water materia when i fought the water creature and that took me 19 mins to finish him off was a pain in the butt but everyone has their own way to do stuff yeah for me it was easy to just basically use Cure 3.......i had other stuff on too but when he died within 3 turns of my characters was really no need for me to use anything else.......how did you do it:lol:

Even maxed out characters had it tough. For one, I never equip elemental materia (fire, ice, lightning, water etc) because I never use it. Leaves more space for Final Attack and Counter Attack materia. I use these three combinations on three different characters, or more if they become mastered:

Person A - Curative magic + all, Bahamut Zero, Ultima, Haste + all, Deathblow
Person B - Barrier magic + all, Final Attack + Phoenix, Life, Comet, Curative magic + all

Person C - Time magic + all, Barrier magic + all, Contain, Hades, Deathblow, slash all,

Other assorted things like HP plus and magic plus. Put it this way - with this combination, Safer Sephiroth fell to me with no use of limit breaks and no use of summons. No one died after Supernova, either.

oh okay

see first time around i never even had the final materias i had no clue what i was doing so i guess i lucked out then with my cure 3 and life and summons.......if im right i ddint even know how to use cure 3 correctly as i had no all materia
