Hey peoples, so I started playing through the Rusty Lake games (specifically the Cube Escape games so far) a while ago, but now I'd like to go all out and check one of these short games out every other day.

If you're wondering what these games are, they're room escape games with a really dark twist. They all connect in some way, but I'm playing them blind so I couldn't really specify too much.

Episode 1 - Cube Escape: Seasons


Hey there folks! Today we're kicking off a new let's play that'll have sporadic uploads in between other series' episodes. It will all be blind except for this episode :).

Rusty Lake is the developer and what a collection of room escape games are known as. This episode is actually the first game in the series: Seasons (which in itself is a mini-series within the Rusty Lake umbrella: Cube Escape). Either way, the full first game is here. Hope you enjoy!

This series is all available on PC and mobile. This is the Steam version.

Episode 2 - Cube Escape: The Lake

Ok, so I loved Seasons, but as far as I can tell, it had nothing to do with Rusty Lake in general? I guess I haven't played enough of them yet to say that for certain though.

The point is, this one is all based by the lake. It's 2 for 2 so far on likeability!

Hey there folks, onto the 3rd Cube Escape today! Arles is a room escape based entirely on the concept of art! I found this the toughest game of the series so far.

Episode 5 - Cube Escape: Case 23


Hey peoples, I'm loving this game purely for how it's starting to tie up the mysteries of the previous games in the series. It's introduced us to a new character who gets dragged into the whole mess. Detectives have a hard life huh?

Episode 6 - Cube Escape: The Mill


Hey there folks! So last episode we saw that a mill was a part of the whole Rusty Lake scenario. Now we get to see exactly what went down there! Sort of. Mysteriously. I'm still clueless. More to come though!

Hey there folks, here's my thematically favourite cube escape game so far! I love the grampa, the singing, the...concept that I won't spoil. This one is fantastic :). It really feels like they've found their stride.

Episode 9 - Cube Escape: The Cave


Hey there folks, today we wrap up the cube escape collection! Don't get me wrong, there are more cube escape games, but they aren't a part of this collection. Who knows if that'll make a difference.The Cave is a whopper! Full to the brim with puzzles and gimmicks. I didn't think I'd like a cave environment (they're normally dark and dingy) but this does things differently, as with everything else in the franchise.
