Does anyone have a good strategy for the "1st" demon wall you fight at the start of Raithwalls Tomb? I know it optional but i wanna get the Demonsbane(correct name?) Sword for defeating both Walls, second one is easy but the first proves difficulty. And what level do you think i should be?

Let me think. I think I was in my 20s when I went ahead and defeated both. I used all my characters Quickenings also. It sorted both out no prob.

Hmm im sitting at level 16 atm, and have only 1 quikening for Basch..second time through the game although i never completed it first time lol :P. Should i just train on the Urutan-Yensa until 20?

I've done it before. Basicly fist off you need your characters higher than the recommended level, I think I was well into the mid 20's or something...when you fight it, start with a Quickening Chain (your characters should idealy have all three of their Quickenings now) with a powerfull concurrence. Then simply stick with normal attacks until your nearly at the end of the hall in which you switch too your other three characters and use a Quickening Chain again to finish it off. If you can pull off some high level concurrences it shouldn't be too difficult.

Its a good idea to set Gambits to attack 'nearest visable', and Eye Drops to cure Blind. If Demon Wall uses Telega on a party member, fight the urge to switch in a fresh party member until you are ready to switch your whole team.

Bout it really, go for it!

Ok, so where at this point is the best place for me to train? I woulda said the Skeletons in the Lhusu Mines? Oh and is the Demonsbane worth it? Whats the attack power?

Attack power is 59 I do believe.

As for training, Lhusu Mines or maybe even go through Raithwalls Tomb but back track and defeat the Demon Wall before getting the Dawn Shard at the end of the Tomb.

It's worth the extra effort but it can take quite the while as you also need to get the actual urn its in to appear and for it not to contain Gil when it does.

On my first playthrough i dont think i was able to go back and fight it..? I'm sure it didnt appear no more..i'll prob just stick with the mines and they drop Bone Fragments anyway so i'll make money too.

59! My highest available attack power atm is 29..

Yeah you can, you just have to remember not to use the Waystone that takes you past the area its in ;)

The Lhusu Mines is a better option anyways thining about it, Bone Fragments like you said. I was thinking of more Stillshrine of Miriam on the levelling/Looting side of things lol.

I think I was in my early 20s when I did it, I just went back & forth in the nam yensa getting chains & suchlike- boring as hell but it was worth it. I eventually just used a chain of quickenings on him it was pretty close tho & I had to restart afew times because I don't think I was strong enough

i think i had 53 attack on Vaan and Basch doing that, so i decided not to you should really have more attk than that, i think i was wielding um iron hammer on both and a longbow on ashe IMO if you can afford the weps from shop its not ultimatley worth it

I never beated it D: But best place to train i find in that point is the Mines and in the Yensa.

Hmm so you get a sword by beating both. Interesting...

Aaaaaye, same. I had everyone's second quickening. Thankfully, I managed to come out with my best chain - 25. A few whacks and he was down.

I think that's exactly where I trained.

You'll find that, once you get the Demonsbane, all it really does is tide you over until you get some Deathbringers. It gets out-dated relatively quickly.

I managed to beta him at Lv 17. Both partys had Lv 1 quickenings which I used on him. Then I just used physical attacks after that.

The Demonsbane has around 60 Atk which is extremely good at that point. Better weapon start appearing at Bur Omisace which is quite far away.
