Laugh...? Nope. :P More than anything I would say I was just surprised by that turn of events. o_O

It didn't make any sense to me at all when I saw it that first time, I thought she have been possessed or something. xD

If you cast your mind back to earlier in that sequence, Chaos paralyses the heroes of light once they realise he's there.


As for laughing at her destruction: I didn't. Wasn't particularly unexpected, as Argor detailed quite well in his post, so it was more of a "well... dear me!" moment.

Yeah same here. I couldn't understand why she would ask to be killed. I think I get it now, though. xD

Ah, Agent Smith solves the case. xD I think I understood too by the time I played through more of the Story. :)

But yeah, when I first saw it it seemed like the beginning was the end, thought it was going to be the shortest story ever. Lol
 
When Cosmos first burst into flames, my initial reaction was: o_O

Apart from that, my logical reasoning told me that the game couldn't have ended right there, or else Square Enix would be ripping off my money, which almost NEVER happens ^^

Nevertheless, yes, spontaneous combustion ... *chuckles Sephiroth style*
 
I didnt the first few times i saw it but then the most recent time i saw it i did because after know she doesnt actually die i was kind of laughting at the first time i saw it when i thought she was dead
