See you're doing good!!! :)

I always give in to Green & Blacks choc, since it's actually healthy choc if that's at all possible!! Plus you can never eat a full bar because it's so rich, meaning less calories woo hoo!!!

Surely not completely cut out the alcohol, have a glass of wine as a treat!!! :gasp:
 
I have a ridiculously fast metabolism, so I never had to worry about that stuff. But, I have a barely overweight friend who is on a simple (non-exercising) diet where she just limits her calorie intake each day. I think her magic number is 2,000 and a lot of healthy foods, but I'm not sure. All I know is that she is losing two pounds a day, so by the time Prom comes around next week she'll have lost about 26 pounds just by changing how she eats.

That probably doesn't work for everyone, but it sounds like a good plan.

I was a naughty girl yesterday, I had a handful of chocolate buttons and a bottle and a half of wine, which seemed to get me rather drunk. It's all that food I've not been eating hahaha

Im going swimming soon, although that's awaste of time really, considering I can't swim, haha oh well, its weekend, im allowed to be naughty :wacky:

2000 calories a day doesn't really help man. 1500 is for people who really want to lose weight. 2000 is like daily value for average people and the average American is pretty hefty nowadays.

And if she's losing TWO pounds a DAY then there's probably something wrong. Her previous diet must've consisted of solely fried chicken and mexican food because you can't lose that much weight THAT fast unless your WELL over your expected weight and you're doing extreme exercises. I can barely lose 3 pounds over a week of working out! And that's like the average for most people who are on a diet.

Seriously though, 14 pounds in a week is ridiculous and I'd think it's just plain unhealthy because you pretty much can't eat anything for that to work. And weight shouldn't be prioritized over well being.

Anyways, I don't diet anymore because I figure I won't have time to eat after summer so I'm gorging while I can.
