Difference between Final Fantasy

What is the difference the Final Fantasy's. Ex. Dawn of Souls, the 2 Original Games, and Origins. Are there major difference between them besides graphics and sound and technical stuff I'm talking sidequest, secret bosses, so on. Ex. In the newest 4 remake they add a bunch of little sides and what not

im not to sure about that 1 i have honestly never even heard of the other game but if its an rpg a lot of them are extremely similar in gameplay espcially if its turn based

NES version was the original
Wonderswan Version had better graphics
PS1 (Origins) was a WS port
GBA (Dawn of Souls) had extra dungeons
PSP has better graphics again and another new dungeon
