Difference between PSICOM, Sanctum, Corps and Cavalry? o.0

I know, I got confused... Now I know what the Cavalry is... I just don't know what they are (made no sense). I know they're not the enemy, right?

Can someone please define each of these for me? I'm too stupid to learn terms and stuff like this :S

I know, I was and still am getting confused and I'm still in the beggining where the lake crystals up, fal'cie, purge, pulse, etc. All I know is that my characters are l'cie and PSICOM is a highly trained group for the government I think, PSICOM uses militarized intelligent weapons like those big machines and such.

Yeah... Figured that out on my own, just need a confirmation. I still don't know what Sanctum and Corps are... I'm pretty sure Sanctum is the government of Cocoon, right? D:

PSICOM-Public Security and Itelligence Command, cops and high power secret agents, one arm of the military, used for hunting l'cie and pulse related stuff
Guardian Corps-The general arm of the military, Lightning was a sergeant in this, used for protecting Towns and Cities
The Sanctum-Cocoon government directed by the Cocoon Fal'Cie
The Cavalry-Part of the Guardian Corps, though they suspect the government...
