Discovered the 1 thing I dislike about this game

This is what happens, the initial one, such as junctioning a GF you can go through, but after that, you can cancel at will, for instance at the fire cavern, you can skip that completely, and on the SeeD mission, Timber Owl Hideout on the train, you can skip those too, Junctioning Atk-J after graduating in the training centre...

Wait, you can?

I know you can just keep mashing the buttons on the controller - speeding your through the dialog, but I wasn't aware there's a way to skip through the rest of the tutorials, especially the long Timber Owl's mission tutorial.

How exactly are you able to skip them entirely?

After my first play thru, once a tutorial screen comes up, instead of pressing X to carry it on I have just hit triangle instead and it skips the whole thing everytime for every tutorial. Dont think iv every tried that on the Owl mission tho, i'l have to remember that and see if it works....

Yea you can skip every tutorial, ive just got into disc 2 and ive skipped all from the start. Dont think its possible to skip the Owls mission, thats part of the story n stuff.

You can definitely skip the tutorials, I've played through Final Fantasy VIII like 5 times and i have skipped through them everytime. Just hit Triangle and it should skip right through them

Thats doesn't really bother me...i'm just like "Hurry up or i'll go mental" and that usually works :monster:

And then after that i go crazy and enable the rapid fire button and press x and tah-dah...i've pressed it so quick, i'm back playing the game :)

Okay I've played through VIII ... around 3 - 4 times, and not once NOT EVEN THE FIRST TIME THROUGH did I read it. It was annoying I admit having to go through stuff you allready know. But my question is:

WHY THE HELL DO YOU NEED A TUTORIAL? YOU HAVE THE GAME MANUAL READ THAT. I know it probably doesn't explain it as well but tutorials interupt game play.

I am not actually annoyed be the fact they are there though.
