Fan Fiction Dissidia 012 Discussion

We definitely need one character with a gun, but I can see it probably being Balthier, since he's much more popular than Irvine, and it's pretty much impossible for Vincent or Barrett to be in the game now that Tifa has been revealed.

Although, how fucking awesome would Barrett be?!

Also, I can't remember who mentioned it, but having Reddas in Dissidia would be great. Unique weapons and all, the only other FF character I can think of who uses them is Kiros from VIII.

Although... Balthier and Reddas are both from the same game... so it'll probably be Balthier. >.>
 
I still don't know how the gun can be utilized in Dissidia gameplay. Would it be similar to the magic users who attack from afar?

Since Balthier is a gun specialist, it is hard to say that his attacks will fit perfectly with the battle system. Although Squall is a gunblade specialist, his attacks range is fair enough. Balthier in the other hand has a gun which his attack are meant to be long range. I'm not sure how they will make Balthier's attack fit with the battle system but I'm sure they will make his attack within a limit range. It will be cheating if his attack range has no limit. They will try to find a way to balance his attack range and make it fair enough for his opponents, that is if they add him to the roster.



 
We know it is a prequel. It is just the sequel because it comes out after Dissidia I. New characters etc.. It is bound to be a much better game than the first.

That looks like the dude from 13 Versus. but Dissidia can be modded now, so someone probably modded Buntz.

Where did you get it?

Has anyone seen the character cards yet....?
 
I got it from the CxA forums. Ehh, I don't know if it's real or where it's from that's why I asked you all. A friend said they found it on a blog. I'll tell you where from when she gets back to my post.

I have no clue who that blond guy can be in that pic, but I really don't think it's any of the guys from Versus. It just seems off to have a Versus character in a game before it's own debut :hmmm:

If it's a mod, it's pretty kewl =D

@Channizard: That's Cecil's "Dark Knight" form he switches to from his Paladin form.

And I think they said those things were those manikens, like the ones you fight in the first Dissidia game.

Also, I think Tifa is giving Kain a potion, like how Tidus gave Jecht a potion in his story mode in the first game. I'm guessing it's Tifa's story mode, unless Kain's story mode has him falling exhausted after defeating Tifa and her compassion to heal him maybe get's him to, I dunno, go to the Cosmos side. His allegiance is still shaky plot-wise even though we know he's a Cosmos warrior *shrugs*

:lew: Man... There's so many familiar faces in Dissidia now. At first I just didn't care for it because of all the characters being in it that I didn't really care for much. Now things are getting interesting.

I'm really psyched to see who else is in the game. xD I can't wait. It's gonna be awesome. :ryan:

Wow, Tifa looks awesome in CGI. But she reminds me of something...a real someone :O
I like that they gave her red eyes, suits Tifa so much!

And looks like I got a knew ship couple! (Kain and Tifa :>)

In all seriousness though, I had no idea if Tifa's foot was being grabbed or punched at that angle :wacky: How is she even able to kick that high in a skirt? :hmmm: /logic in FF does not compute :mokken:

It's easy. If it's made of stretching fabric, and it's a loose skirt, it falls right back in to place if she places her feet back down, and it stretches so she can kick up high. :ryan:
