Dissidia Character Discussion Thread

You mean his Katana Use is Magical or the Masamune has magical properties?

Because its just a physical attack weapon, with no magical abilities at all and :seph: relies on his powerful mind for his Magic power.

If your saying he has extreme Prowess with a Katana then I agree 100% AJ!

Um......put Terra where?

She is a hell of a spell caster given her timid nature, and I like using from a fare maximizing her chase abilities with wall rush bonuses, and chase bravery damage+.

MAJOR FREAKIN EDIT!: Is anyone of quality gonna come in here ever again?

I read through a lot of posts and not a lot of people put Terra as their favorite character in game.

Good for you!

The hell does that have to do with anything?

how about some insight, Terra might be underrated and is pushed aside for the brawlers by some players, but thats there choice and she is one of my preferred Dissidia characters because of her skill set and she requires some skill to use.

My gosh, it was my first post and I wasn't aware we had to elaborate on EVERYTHING. Here's some "insight":

From the moment I chose Terra, I fell in love with her character. She's soft spoken and has trouble figuring out her emotions, which is something I can relate to. Then I started fighting with her, and fell in love all over again because I'm one of those people who likes strategically using mage attacks instead of just mashing buttons and dealing a barrage of random hits. Terra's limit break is one of my favorites, 2nd only to Cloud's. The way she looks while executing it makes it even more epic.

I personally started using Squall after Cloud failed me. He attacks quickly and Beat Fang>Aerial Circle seems to do it well for me. His sneak attacks are very effective, coupled with counterattack, as he usually attacks right before most people do (physically, that is) and his Mystic Flurry aerial variant (name fails me for the time being) is a great way to distract people for Beat Fang.

A month and half since my last fight on dissidia and I still have it!

As casually as you like just accounted for Jecht,Gabranth and The Emperor...........while I made a sandwich, Cloud and Squall at this point are old hat, and pushing up on a 1000 victories each.

Yeah they're my main guys.

I'd suggest mastering a few of his 'extra' abilities, such as his EXP-HP/BRV/EX, Snooze and Lose and some critical boosts such as Riposte or Counterattack.

That aside, gather better equipment if need be :monster:

Zidane is worm food in Inward Chaos mode you need the heavy hitters for this 1.
Sephiroth,Cloud,Sqaull even Tidus can do better than Zidane who relies to heavily on aerial attacks IMO.

Cloud does particularly well in EX mode!

As the Queen says Better equipment is key, the right Booster Accessories choice can you help you big time.

Personally speaking, i'd say either an EX build or a BRV/damage build would be your best bet for Zidane. Personally he's not my main so i'm not an expert on his strengths and weaknesses (I personally used WoL here :wacky:)

FOr general play, i'd advise a lot of block>counter tactics, especially when you hit the final four level 110s.

Actually, they aren't that great as they can easily be lost and EX Accs or damage boosters/+ Atk are much better spent.

Garland: Pretty much the same reasons everyone else had. But most of all his look and style is a perfect blend of the heroic type and villainous type in terms of body build. He's one of those characters I have a good handle on.

My Secondaries: Cloud Strife, Warrior of Light, Firion. I got good handles on them too.

Worst: Sephiroth. He's just meh to me. He's too cliche' of a choice that is.I find myself using him as a punching bag more than anything else.

You want to know what I noticed a week ago? The anatomy of Emperor Mateus is totally off. If you closely focus on his whole body, you'll notice that his upper chest area is of good built size, his torso is very small, and his bottom half is average looking. In other words, his shape literally looks like an hourglass. Though I'm not sure if that's the shape of this actual body or if the armor is squeezing his waistline to death. But since he's one of my favorite characters to battle with, it bothers me. Just saying. His armor itself is fantastic looking however.

Well they are not human. They are humes, which allows them also to jump in the air, cast magic, wield very heavy weapons - things that are also totally off.

don't you just with things like this were real? except for the killing and destruction bits....

6 jumps in a row! WOOOOO! High jump just got a lot more fun! Magic would be awesome.
