Ditto... I can't see anything goth in Squall's appearance..other than him being dressed in black, but it's not an elaborately goth look of black, but instead more a "It's rather chilly! Let me put on my coat..." sort of black... And his attitude to life isn't neccesarily goth either

Agreed . I like what they've done with Garlands sword as well. It seems to be stretchy, and form shapes of different weapons etc for different actions. He looks to be a very interesting character to play.

There's just something very straight-forward strength about him, and I like that there's no pansy pushing around. A villian's villian, you know?

As for the Squall thing, I can't comment because that would start a huge rant... and there's no way I could walk away without an infraction from it. Let's just say that he's always depressed and he wears black... and can't make decisions for himself... and he likes to play tummy sticks...

In other words, you have no idea what a real goth is. If you're saying he's one of those poser, faux goths, well, perhaps, but even then he dosen't do all the excessive make-up, Linkin Park screaming kind of thing. And he's certainly not a real goth. I doubt there are even many people who know what one is.

Anyhow, I had nothing against Shantotto until people started becoming fanboys and girls over her in Dissidia. Now that she has a decent fanbase, I'm going to have to beat the ever living daylights out of this little moogle wannabe bitch. I'll kung pow her chicken. It's like all the benefits of child abuse without the jailtime

I don't have any specific character I want to beat down the most, but I don't hide the interest of playing as the Villains in Majority and teach the Heroes a lesson. In all the FF's we were trying to save the world... Now we can finally choose our path.

The characters that I will probably beat down the most... Shantotto, Onion Knight, Cecil, Golbez, Bartz, Kefka and Warrior of Light. Most are due personal disliking towards their behavior in history. They are in need of some Omni-Slashes.

Well, again, I would rather beat up Sephiroth because he is one of my most unfavorite characters. It's just something about him... I don't know what it is. He is just one of those guys that... just somewhere in there... would just make you wanna hate him. I wish I could give a more vivid discription as to why I dislike him so, but I cannot.

Maybe when I fight him in Dissidia, I'll understand why I dislike him so much. *nods*

There's not a separate villain story mode, but each of the heroes story modes will cover both the hero and his opposing villain. Cecil's story is really Cecil and Golbez's story, etc. I don't know if the villain will ever be playable during the story, but we can always hope.

So apparently (to get this thread at least a little bit back on topic) according to Famitsu it's very hard to master the characters and that enemies gets more formidable as your level increases. Also, there is a high level of customization.

If there is a chance of aesthetic weapon changes, then maybe tthere will be gag weapons? Just speculation of course, but imagine beating someone down with Cloud's nailbat, or the weird Aloha set in FF9 (I dont remember if that set included a weapon though). Lulz.

Yeah all the opponents have specific levels and according to the difficulty or level (its still uncertain) your opponents will get more powerful/weaker.

Also its said that Ex-Death is far more diffcult for newbies to control him as its main attacks rely mostly on Counters and deadly traps and his Ex-Burst (Where he casts his opponent to the Void and crushes him) is extremely deadly. I bet he will make an excellent character to train counters and some techniques against difficulty battles.
