Do you believe in ghosts and/or demons

ghosts can only be seen by certain people, some more than others.
Ghosts are the wandering soul of someone who has died, but feels their life wasnt complete. They seek out the people who can see them, sometimes even talk to them. If you havent realized, schizophrenics are really sensitive to spirits, thats why they are "delusional"
 
not yet whos to say what the future may prove? Back in time no one new about molecules yet now we do. As science advances it may be proven/disproven but as of now how can anyone say as fact what may or maynot exsist?
 
I did not mean to state that we know anything about ghosts; on the contrary, we know nothing about them, and certainly not enough to say we know they exist (or don't). That was my whole point all along; you can't say anything exists without knowing anything about them without at least seeming irrational.

I'm pretty sure I didn't say we knew that ghosts exist. They probably don't, but I could be wrong.
 
Well im entierly confused now lol
But still on this subject I believe in them yes...but not in the way most people do. I dont believe things like that happen theres always a reason or a rational explanation of how these accurances happen.
Im fairly confused as to weather im agreeing with you or not now....^-^

I'd like to see scientific evidence that shows that the reason that people suffer hallucinogenic and/or delusional symptoms of schizophrenia is because they are sensitive to spirits and not that it's because they're suffering a neurological disorder that causes their brain to function in abnormal ways.
 
that is true, but some of them see ghosts, and only ghosts (i'm talking about minor cases btw) but I do believe that some people are more likely to see ghosts than others

Ja, but a rational reason doesn't say anything about whether or not the ghosts actually exist. If it does exist, we're not aware of it. Yet.
 
Yeh I believe in ghosts because i've seen one and sensed many and also I think there prity awsome and interesting if ghosts did'nt exist then it would be alot more boring. But im not so sure about demons..
 
Studies found out that where strong magnetic pulses are your brain will react to those pulses. The brain is a weird powerful thing, we only use 10%...but I think its your own brain that makes you see ghosts..


Same goes for all the so called Alien abductions and sightings..
 
Whether or not life is more boring or interesting has nothing to do with truth. The two are completely independent and do not affect one another.

If you're going to propose some Youtube clips as proof of the existence of ghosts, then you better use better clips; they're way too blurry and shaky. It's not proof of anything. And you should probably use your own arguments instead of relying on someone else's "research".
 
I believe in them, when I was little I think I've seen one too.
My dad had many experiences with them as well when he was younger and nowadays he mostly comes back after his work with stories about haunted places where many people have witnissed the same weird happening. Places where people hear footsteps at the bathroom and see people walk past one window and they're gone at the next window while there's only one way to go.

Not really. I find it hard to believe that there are creatures that exist for pure evil, such as demons. I see them as more of symbols of what humans may one day become if we don't let go of our selfish desires. As far as ghosts go, I've never seen nor heard anything that could be classified as proof of the existence of spirits. Besides, if I died and continued on existing, the last place I would want to stay is on this planet. But that's just me.

And on a somewhat off topic theme, I can't stand those "psychics" that claim they can communicate with the dead. That seems to me like a very special ability that wouldn't come to someone (if you believe in the presence of fate) who would just use it become famous on television. I just don't buy that for a minute. And I think that if I could hear and speak with the dead, I would never respond. And if I did, I'm sure I'd drive them away with my constant bitching.

Some human-beings are nothing but pure evil. Like killers. It's not that far fetch to think something lives just to harm.
 
I don't believe in them. The evidence is insufficient IMO. Everything I've seen is never concrete and is often dubious. Can you really call some blurry photographs or a poor quality video evidence? Plus, people have a motive to fake it anyway.

A lot of evidence is said to be first hand as well. Since I've never experienced a ghost or anything else of that nature then I wouldn't be justified in believing them. Also, seeing as how poor eye witness accounts can be I doubt they're reliable anyway.
 
I believe in them for sure, I have ghosts around my house all the time sitting next to me when I am in my room or pushing be or brushing against me, the weirdest thing is me and my sister both saw one once creepy...?

Not to mention one tried to kill me once scariest thing ever, something was stopping me from breathing in my sleep, but I was also having a dream of something choking me -- but luckily my sister woke me up.

...so hell yes I believe in them :hmmm:
 
I don't believe in ghosts, I think it's the hype created by movies, If any one saw share your experience may be if its not ruined then I can believe. Still experiments are going on on that special topic.:jon:
 
I believe in ghosts.

Over the years, I had some stuff happening in my houses, but quite frankly, I'm so used to it now I don't even pay attention anymore.

Let's see: in the middle of the 90's, I was in my room with my brother, watching TV, when we started hearing in the corridor steps, coming in our direction. And we were alone in the house, I need to mention. I seriously thought I was going to saw a ghost that day, someone that wasn't supposed to be there.

Over the years there has been also stuff like someone hitting the furniture, sitting on my bed, but one that creeped me as much as the first situation I described happened some years ago, when I was 15/16.
I was teasing my brother, hitting the glass of the door of the living room and he kept telling me 'Stop annoying me'. Whilst I laughed I said 'Hey, it's not me', just to joke. 'Want to see?', so I start walking to my room, when someone knocks the freaking glass, he comes straight off the living room, I start running to my room, didn't even looked behind me (nor I wanted to), he catches me in the room and says 'Will you stop it?' and I 'It wasn't me this time, serious.' He was like 'How come it wasn't you?' and we were like fuck it, we were the only ones near the living room (my mother was in her room).

If you ask me if I ever saw one, then no, I never saw a ghost. Nor I want to, thank you very much. But to deny that they exist simply because it's better to think they simply don't, to feel safer, then that's pretty close minded, to say the least.

As for demons, well, never got an encounter with one, but if ghosts exists, what prevents demons from existing too?
