Does anyone else find the victory poses difficult to watch?

I like the victory posses. Like sure the one were Vaan like climbs on his Polerarm and sits on it is a bit weird (I'm pretty sure that happens >_>). It was good because they're were different posses with each weapon you'd kill a boss with, and it didn't happen to much since it was only every boss fight.

Someone's compiled all of Fran's poses. The bow is at 0:53:

Yes, I like the victory dances and the theme music for it in XII. And I really like the fact that they went to the trouble to make different victory poses for all the characters for each and every type of weapon. Previously, each character could only use one type of weapon (at least in the games where victory poses were anything more than just throwing your arms in the air).

For me, I liked the victory poses. I was glad to even see/hear they used the fanfare. I thought it was gone myself.

I kinda miss it after every battle but that is okay cause they did it after every boss. Which meant I must have did something important to get the fanfare theme! haha. Some poses were a bit corny but I loved Balthier and Basch's. <3.

I remember when I returned to beat the 1st Demon Wall and I was uber powerful with Tournesol and Masamune, I hit it twice and it died. I didn't deserve the big yellow "CONGRATULATIONS" >_>
But in my low level challenge, I was really happy to see the victory poses after 3 attempts of kiting Belias. xD

Nah its a FF trademark to have victory poses and the little theme song when you are leveling up and such. I mean its been there from the very beginning to have it any different would take away from FF even more to be honest.

This is more of a general thread than a FF XII thread though. Although I liked FFVII the best, these weren't so bad either. Although Balthier can go jump off a cliff and land on some MK spikes. Other than that, they are pretty legit.

No, I don't have a problem with it. I think that the fact that they occur only certain battles does give it a more special and feeling cause it is rare, whereas it does slightly get repetitive in other Final Fantasy games xD

I do slightly agree that it is cheesey, but only with Vaan, cause well, he is sad and he gives of this image that he is trying to hard imo.

I actually liked the victory poses. After going through a long and annoying boss battle, it's always nice to see a 'Congratualtions' on your screen. Besides, victory poses are like tradition (though SE has been breaking those lately). Can't have Final Fantasy without some type of victory pose.

Lol i didn't really enjoy them, i just thought they were funny, like every time vaan threw his sword into the ground then put on leg on it, i always thought "Well even Vaan has a little captain in him" lol

I cannot watch let alone find it difficult. It so annoying. I go through a boss fight too see somthing that would scare away highschool musical.

LMAO! little captian. brilliant! catches the mood of the finishing poses so perfectly!

And like Patsy Stone i do agree that it was better only having it for certain battles, but then that is the way the game is set up i suppose with no random battles.

I found the hard to watch! Even kind of weird. Especially because after it is over, my characters are in a half-dying state and start to heal each other XD

But no, that wasn't the real reason. I think they were kind of "out of place".
I mean, it is nice to see that they feel heroes, but it is kinda "Com'on! I don't have the whole day! I need to go on, so stop standing there like statues!"

Didn't see Fran's pose with the bow. I had her to use a Dagger. I feel like I missed something cool, so I'll try to find in on Youtube

I don't mind the victory poses of other FF games because they do them in the position they finished the battle. I guess if I killed a massive dragon I would swing my sword around and strike a pose! (Cloud)
But FF12 was weird, they arranged themselves into a pretty circle and just stood there basically! And what was Vaan doing?! Oh yeah, showing off his penciled on abs... >_>

Nah, I didn't really mind dawgz. At first when I started playing the game, I was foaming at my mouth trying to figure out where Victory Fanfare was, but then you beat the boss and it's like, "Oh haaaay. There you are. :3"
