on several moment of the movie Kadaj's gang, particularly Loz... have this emotional instability... i don't really understand what it actually is and what causes it... somebody can lighten me up?

i'm talking about the crying
 
I'm pretty sure it's because the different brothers represent a different part of Sephiroth's personality (because they are remnants of him). For example Loz is crying a lot and teasing the other brothers because he is Sephiroth's inner-child. I think Yazoo is Seph's feminine side, and as for Kadaj, well he seems to be his crazy, jealous, most evil nature.
 
You're just a tad off. This is what was stated in the Reunion Files

Kadaj: Sephiroth's Cruelness (evil and pretty maniacal, insane or touched in the head)

Yazoo: Sephiroth's Allure (very intelligent, mysterious and handsome)

Loz: Sephiroth's Masculinity (he's all brawn but no brains, basically meaning he has the mentality of a child)

Well i guess that explains it, though it doesn't really explain about the crying though, inner child is better though
 
The "mentality of a child" explains it thoroughly. He has the brain of a kid, some kids are crybabies and therefore Loz is a crybaby. He's a bad ass fighter mind you, but when it comes down to his feelings and emotions for his mother, he expresses them vocally and through tears. As for the motherly love, that's what Aerith did at the end. They were forgiven and brought back to the Lifestream ^_^ In the Reunion Files it states that Aerith has a maternal presence there in the Forgotten City. That's why Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo were so drawn there, because of her maternal presence.

thanks Lady Aerith for the explanation. I think i know more about the show now... =) maybe i should get a copy of the Reunion Files too...
 
Oh you definantly should! It's a totally awesome book and it's filled with glossy pictures, etc...You can find them on ebay, though they can be rather pricey =/

Anyways, back on topic, I'm glad that my explanation helped you further understand Loz more. I actually find his childlike innocence endearing at times, just as I do Kadaj's. All they want is to be with their mother and in the end, they do get a mother and it sure as hell isn't that JENOVA bitch! xD
 
Sephiroth's Masculinity is Loz. He was meaning Loz. It's what all three of the brothers want. They want nothing more than to be with their mother and that's it.
 
If you would read through my posts you would know that the Reunion Files is a book. A book that which can be purchased off of the internet. The best place to purchase this book is Ebay.
 
Loz cries cause he wants mother, but he can't get her... doubt he'd want to hug her, he just wants to be "whole" again, with other words, become Sephiroth...
but he can't be "whole" cause of Cloud and the rest, up untill Kadaj steals Jenova's head...

that's what i can make up of this thread, and ofc being the masc...(you know) and inner child of Sephiroth

odd thing is ofc... Sephiroth never showed any signs of having an inner child...
he was actually exactly the same as Kadaj, he didn't have any things of Yazoo either
