Yeah.what happens if enemies cast death.there is no one to revive you.thats it game over.Couldnt some of the people that were added to you DMW actually help you in battle? What do you think

That's what Phoenix Downs/Safety Bits are for, you can protect yourself from Death..... in mission it's fine anyway, you don't get game over, you just have to restart. It's frustrating but not the end of the world, and as soon as you have a safety bit, you're good to go

I don't even RECALL anything in the main game that casts death on Zack anyway

It did make it slightly less enjoyable that they used a combat style different then in VII, but if you cast a Phoenix Down then you are revived after you die.

My bigger problem was stop/stun enemies, makes some missions a pain unless I spamdodge D:

And ya, death can be a royal pain as well if you're not adequately equipped/prepared to handle it

I remember something casting death on me once, but I don't remember if it was in the main game or not =/ I had saved recently and was getting bored anyways, so I quit and played something else. Other than that, though...I don't recall any other enemy ever even casting it on me. I agree that the stop/stun enemies are the most annoying things, though -_-

I think it made it more fun as you had to think about wether or not to use items now that you might need later and you couldn't rely on other characters to heal so if you wanted to survive you had to balance it out. Although you can just make most materia give you hp 999%.

It really did stray from the traditional styles of Final Fantasy, it would have been cool to have other people in your party. like Ckoud, Sephiroth, or Tseng.

Personally, I didn't like it to be honest. There were lots of aweomse characters that I have loved to form a party with. So yes I do think its wrong and they should never do it again. And yah i didn't think there were any enemies that casted death in the game :|

The game was still alrite tho. I just think SE should stick with parties~

the only enemy i had trouble facing and kept dying on was angeal penace, but a phoenix down is something you should always have when your in a tough fight

That would have been pretty good, but as like, guest characters you can't control. I still stand by my point that this game didn't NEED extra party members though, bt it would have been good to fight alongside certain people at certain points in the game, but then, the game wasn't really long enough in story mode :wacky:

Also, I can assure you guys, there IS death in the missions, you just have to get a good ways into them, and most people got bored, which is understandable, the missions were tedious at best. all 3 fecking hundred of the :gonk:

It's completely fine Zack is strong enough to kill pretty much anything alone-He killed Neo Bahamuat easily. Enemy's do not cast death.

Erm. Not to be an ass, but they DO...I found that out the hard way last night. Was an instant game over! :wtf:

an enemy never really casted death on me,i dont remember that much about crisis core, maybe i should buy a new copy and give it another play through

ever encountered it. Maybe its really rare that they do? As for a one man party, maybe SE was trying a KH type of thing and since its on PSP, they cant give ya extra characters due to space?

I'm almost finished with mine. =/ Unfortunately, the game does not seem to have much replay value, so you can have mine to try it. :gonk:

Was one of the missions in the mines. I can't remember exactly what it was, but something that was flying cast it on me

Well, there was never enough enemies that justified a party (besides bosses). Even then, it was somewhat easy.

Agreed =X Aside from bosses, or "tougher enemies" You could kill every enemy without a single scratch, given that the enemies flinch everytime you hit them. It's very easy...

i like having a one man team. its cool, though granted a bit unusual. i personally dont like games with a party to take care of very much becaus eits fun until everyone is dying. in the one man team just cast a pheonix down and your set :P

this wasnt weird for me at all cuzz this is the first ff game i played but b4 this i played kingdom hearts.
