Playstation Dragon Quest IX On PS3?

I'll bet I'm not the only one that bought DQ VIII just for the fact that it had the FF XII demo disc in it. I had absolutely no intention of playing DQ at all, and expected it to collect dust.

But, I gave it a try, and before I knew it I was hooked.

Does anyone know if Square is planning a DQ IX for the PS3?

Yes, I thought it was soooo awes0ome too! didnt expect it to be that good!
I heard that it was getting released on the DS, forgot where though, but that will make DS, the best handheld ever!

It's probably already reported somehere here but DQIX is a game on the DS with a Crystal Chronicles style gameplay, somewhat saddened with the new gameplay focus but still great for Nintendo and a kick in the balls for Sony.

Although I wish it would be released on the PS3, I heard it as coming for DS.... All the more reason for me to get one though

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's a DS exclusive. Now I just need to get mine fixed...

I wanted to play DQVIII,and the FFXII demo was all the more incentive to plop down the cash for it.The graphic style in DQVIII is amazing.I love the battles,story,and especially the alchemy pot.I want a DS,but I still wish DQIX was on PS3 or even the Wii.When it comes to RPG's,I'd rather have a big tv screen,with great sound to really enhance the feeling of being completely immersed in another world.
