Simple, but vector style signatures are supposed to be simple and clean right?

And an avatar.

This one is rather good.

It's simple and clean. The background is done rather well and the guy is cut in there nicely.

The texture of his skin looks rather fascinating too.

I think you've placed him rather well and the text is situated nice and close to him, which makes the focal better.

This one is rather simple, but you did a good job of blending and adding the lighting at the top right hand corner.

The texture of his skin yet again looks great.

Is that how it was originally or did you do it?

It is very clean looking but its too empty i think. Theres nothing there that really grabs your attention or stands out. More vectors would definately work as long as you keep the colours the same.

This is quite a nice avatar. In particular i like the lighting. Im not fond of the topaz on him he looks to rigid and the detail is lost as a result.

I like this one a lot. NIce blend between stock and BG and good use of c4d. I think the text is a bit striking though, maybe reduce the size and put it closer the focal.
Really nice work though. Are these your own work or did u follow tuts?

Kind of. I learn new techniques from the tutorials but I try and replicate the outcome without following it step by step and try to do a lot of it myself.
Thanks for the CnC ^_^

This one looks great!

You've blended Spiderman with the background very well and the blurriness on the right hand side forces you to look more at the middle, which is good.

The lighting on the left looks nice and looks as though it's shining up onto Spiderman.

The text looks a bit too big and in ya face though. Try reducing the size a little and it will look better. =)

Great work!

This one is very cute.

You've blended the girl in well with the C4D and the colour them works well too.

The darkness on the sides work well and establish the focal point more and the text is well placed near the girl.

I would suggest adding a little more light on the girl as she seems a bit dull at the moment.

Lovely fonts used and lovely border. =)

Not sure about this one :hmmm:. I followed a tutorial that used some ideas that I hadn't seen before (low opacity text and 'mini pictures' etc) so I gave it a go :)

BTW: even though I'm not reposting old ones with improvements given in the CnC I am taking everyone's advice ^_^

Wow this one looks fantastic!

Very creative indeed!

I love the style of this signature a lot!

The little pictures on the right hand side look so cute and brilliant alongside the text.

The colour of the background looks fantastic and the floral background behind the larger version of Emma looks gorgeous!

Wonderful text font used and the colour looks great!

I think that the glow/light haze around Emma's head is a tad too much but other than that you've done an excellent job!

10/10

After my awful attempts at the pen tool I just went with a brush and well... it turned out like the pen tool did :ryan: Practice makes perfect though :D

You're improving a great deal!

This one looks great!

I love the background detail! The floral really looks lovely!

The girl is blended in well and those two little lines on either side of her head look cute. Like it's framing her face. =)

Lovely colours and the lighting is well done!

You've nailed the focal point by giving the edges of the signature a darker tone.

The text is well placed but I would suggest another font. =)

This one looks cool.

The colours and lighting are done well and the red eyes really stand out.

Nice touch there.

The barcode looks cool too, but I think it would look better if it were a tad smaller.

Awesome texture of the background and the focal point is well done.

You've created a really good light source too!

Haven't had much inspiration lately :hmmm:

It doesn't look like you haven't had much inspiration. I love the depth that this signature seems to have. Your eye is drawn from the upper right to the bottom right. It really leads the eye across the sig! ^_^

I think you did an awesome job on this one!

The blending is fantastic and the texture of the background looks great!

Also the lighting is spot on! It looks as though he's hiding in the ground and the hole at the top is allowing sunlight through to shine upon him. =)

Text is placed well and overall you've done a great job. =)

I concur with the above post, it's very good.
The lighting/negative space in the top right really adds a nice depth to the sig, and I really like the use of subtle colours around the stock, the yellow/red colours, it really brings the focal point out, and the brushing is fantastic, you've done it very well in black and white. The font is really good too! You should try a verson where the font/render is black and white too, to see how it looks :awesome:

Keep it up ^^

Thanks for the CnC :) I finally got the chance to sit down and make a sig that wasn't a SOTW entry :awesome:

Hooray for mini text :wacky:

OMG!

When I first saw this in your signature I was wondering if you made it!

It's brilliant!

You've come a long way fast!

The girl is placed brilliantly within the signature and blended in very well with the background!

The background is wonderfully detailed and the darkness around the edges establishes the focal point much better!

The text is gorgeous! You've used wonderful fonts and placed the text well!

There isn't much to say but well done and keep up the brilliant work!

Thanks for the compliments :D

I noticed the poll was closed so I decided to post my SOTW entry, just because I got 5 votes this week which a big jump in the number I usually get. I didn't think anyone would vote for it, mainly because I thought the left side of the reflection didn't blend in very well :ness:

And a new one.

I really like the design uv gone for here. Creativity and then some for sure. The colours are lovely aswell and theres a lot of depth to the tag. I think the text throws it off somewhat though. I dunno i can tell itd be hard to incorporate and im not sure how i would do it myself but there must be a way to make it look more a part of the tag atm it doesnt really flow too well.

This is smoking hot :gasp: i love it :gasp:
THe lighting and colours are just stunning. The use of c4d is exceptional and the text is fantastic. Truly beautifull signature. The only thing id suggest is toning down the light a little. It leaves a rough edge around her face. Its not that noticeable and it doeast ruin the tag at all but i think its a small thing that could be sorted. Awesome work.

:gonk: Followed a crazy tutorial before I got lost, then just did my own thing after that. I think it turned out nicely though :hmmm:
The bit the the right of her head isn't so good because I couldn't find the resources and basically had to try and make the background myself.

Anyway, all CnC is appreciated :)

Aha would that be a tut by a member named wolfgang by anychance:hmmm: Iv seen the sig before. He used all these weird stocks and c4d to make this techy effect and there was this thing over the persons eye which i think was one of the arms of doc oc in the spiderman movies. I have the stock in the BG aswell, it was from a nike poster.
I think it looks pretty pro, the stocks and c4D could use some more blending in but i think uv pulled it off pretty well. The contrast between black and yellow is really nice and quite refreshing. Its not a colour i usually see. In particular i like the thick transparent yellow to the left, i think that breaks down the sig really well.. awesome work following the tut aswell, i remember looking at it and thinking . . fuck that :gasp:
