It is very clean looking but its too empty i think. Theres nothing there that really grabs your attention or stands out. More vectors would definately work as long as you keep the colours the same.
This is quite a nice avatar. In particular i like the lighting. Im not fond of the topaz on him he looks to rigid and the detail is lost as a result.
I like this one a lot. NIce blend between stock and BG and good use of c4d. I think the text is a bit striking though, maybe reduce the size and put it closer the focal.
Really nice work though. Are these your own work or did u follow tuts?
Kind of. I learn new techniques from the tutorials but I try and replicate the outcome without following it step by step and try to do a lot of it myself.
Thanks for the CnC
Not sure about this one . I followed a tutorial that used some ideas that I hadn't seen before (low opacity text and 'mini pictures' etc) so I gave it a go
BTW: even though I'm not reposting old ones with improvements given in the CnC I am taking everyone's advice
It doesn't look like you haven't had much inspiration. I love the depth that this signature seems to have. Your eye is drawn from the upper right to the bottom right. It really leads the eye across the sig!
I concur with the above post, it's very good.
The lighting/negative space in the top right really adds a nice depth to the sig, and I really like the use of subtle colours around the stock, the yellow/red colours, it really brings the focal point out, and the brushing is fantastic, you've done it very well in black and white. The font is really good too! You should try a verson where the font/render is black and white too, to see how it looks
I noticed the poll was closed so I decided to post my SOTW entry, just because I got 5 votes this week which a big jump in the number I usually get. I didn't think anyone would vote for it, mainly because I thought the left side of the reflection didn't blend in very well
I really like the design uv gone for here. Creativity and then some for sure. The colours are lovely aswell and theres a lot of depth to the tag. I think the text throws it off somewhat though. I dunno i can tell itd be hard to incorporate and im not sure how i would do it myself but there must be a way to make it look more a part of the tag atm it doesnt really flow too well.
This is smoking hot i love it
THe lighting and colours are just stunning. The use of c4d is exceptional and the text is fantastic. Truly beautifull signature. The only thing id suggest is toning down the light a little. It leaves a rough edge around her face. Its not that noticeable and it doeast ruin the tag at all but i think its a small thing that could be sorted. Awesome work.
Followed a crazy tutorial before I got lost, then just did my own thing after that. I think it turned out nicely though
The bit the the right of her head isn't so good because I couldn't find the resources and basically had to try and make the background myself.
Aha would that be a tut by a member named wolfgang by anychance Iv seen the sig before. He used all these weird stocks and c4d to make this techy effect and there was this thing over the persons eye which i think was one of the arms of doc oc in the spiderman movies. I have the stock in the BG aswell, it was from a nike poster.
I think it looks pretty pro, the stocks and c4D could use some more blending in but i think uv pulled it off pretty well. The contrast between black and yellow is really nice and quite refreshing. Its not a colour i usually see. In particular i like the thick transparent yellow to the left, i think that breaks down the sig really well.. awesome work following the tut aswell, i remember looking at it and thinking . . fuck that
