Enigma-[RP]

Drake stood still as the mech plowed over the gaurd who had managed to sneak up behind Drake... The mech asked for the key that Drake had taken from Alyna in the fight they had a while back "I don't want to see you get hurt" the mech said with a robotic tone...

Drake looked at the thing and smiled... "Who says I am gonna get hurt? I am a little more prepaired for battle seeing how my friend gave me this..." Drake pulled the knuckle brace from behind his back and shot a charge out into the sky to make sure it didn't hit the mech. "Now how about you remove that helmet of yours and you talk to me face to face whilst we have time" Drake looked around and saw no gaurds approaching yet and proceeded to talk again.

"I'm looking for a friend of mine, maybe you might know where she is?"
 
"I have no idea what your talking about" The Mechanised figure replied so hastily that the first part of the speech wasnt masked by the synthasizer, it was clearly a females voice....

The mech shook its head and then grabbed Drakes arm with the knuckle brace on with its left hand and grabbed his collar with its right...

"I dont have time for this...give me the damn key Drake...your going to end up getting hurt in there!" It snapped at him, the synathasizer again having trouble masking the voice as parts of the words were coming through with the females voice from within the suit.

*Alert multiple lifesigns detected, closing in on this location* The suit beeped

The mech relinquished its grip on Drake and shook its head "Fine you stubborn jackass, I'll let you help me....go open the door and check inside, while I'll divert these guards" It explained quickly as once again the boosters roared into life...

The guards came running round the corner and the mech picked up a stone and lobbed it at the first guard as to attract there attention, the stone hit the guard in the arm deading his arm and enfuriating him...

"Hey you come and get me!" The mech barked at the guards and proceeded to get them to chase it away from the guard post...out of Drakes view.
 
Stephen was lead into a large hollow chamber and forced to kneel by a kick to the back of the knee. "get down, boy" announced the large coloured man with a bald head who kicked him whilst sporting a sadistic grin. "gonna get you back for that" Stephen replied with a similar smirk.

the man left and Stephen glanced around the empty room. he placed his hands on the floor to help himself up and then there was a strange humming sound "what the he..." he announced as his wrist bands slammed to the now glowing floor, he had been positioned on a large magnetic platform.

"Clone 10 of 13" a voice announced from deep in the darkness "It's a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance, for political reasons i am unable to come out of the darkness" it was at this point that Stephen guessed who the man was "your the enigma" there was a small laugh and then the voice continued "Indeed i am. and i shall allow you to live as the heir to my throne on one condition" Stephen smiled "and that condition is?" he asked "well, you must find and kill Drake Lancer and also Alyna Branswul, also the girls grandfather.

Stephen looked at the floor still unable to move, he then saw his bag land on the floor in front of him, and then his weapon land next to his bag. moments later the magnetic floor powered down and Stephen stood up "and if i refuse" there was then another laugh 2then you will die" the voice announced as a laser dot appeared on Stephen's torso.

"and after killing the people who might as well have been your family, you should have no problem with three strangers" Stephen looked at his gun and then back into the darkness "Fine, I'll do it" he announced as he bent over and picked up his gun, strapping the holster to his leg. "show me the way out"
 
Drake knew now more than ever that the mech was indeed Alyna, and once again she had sent herself on errand of death, putting Drake's life above hers, and she called Drake stubborn.

Regardless of the situation Drake now knew that Alyna was alright and he could calm himself knowing that she would be well prtected whilst fighting those gaurds, seeing how she took refuge in that highly powerful one of a kind mech...

So with haste Drake ran over to the gate of the barracks and removed the key he had retrieved from Alyna from his pocket, he then proceeded to use it and gain entrey to the building.

When Drake opened the door he was very surprised to see...
 
A female was sat on a chair in the middle of the room bound and gagged...upon closer inspection this female figure appeared to be....Alyna!

She struggled with the ropes bound tightly round her and looked up and notice Drake stood in the doorway...

A tear rolled down her cheek as she noticed him as she looked very happy to see him and looked at him as to beckon him over to her to release her from the bonds...

The mech had managed to outrun the guards and began to make its way back to the guardpost, it stopped for a few seconds and opened a chamber panel on its arm and popped out some old expired energy cells and replaced them with new ones...

"I better get back to the guardpost on the hurry!" the voice from within the mech stated as it fired up its rocket boosters and hurtled its way back to the guardpost....
 
Stood in the elevator Stephen was thinking up a plan. *Ding* the elevator reached the top floor and Stephen stepped out into a guard station "thats how you keep his manor concealed" he muttered as he exited and walked out into Sector 2 "but i didn't expect it to be here" he muttered. Stephen then set out on his 'quest' to find Alyna, her grandfather and Drake.
 
Drake stood in awe as he saw clear as day, except this day had now been turned into tossed, it had toyed with Drake's thoughts and emotions, and now when he thought he had figured it all out... He now stood face to face with Alyna bound and gagged to chair in here, and if she was in here who was in the mech?

Drake didn't know weather what he saw was true or if it was his own mind playing tricks on him, he now felt unsure about everything, so many secrets this town is shrouded by, his mind collapsed and he dropped to his knees as his eyes rolled back into his head... The whole situation head made Drake quite distraught and now he had no idea what was going on, he knelt in oblivion for a moment and he couldn't quite grasp anything outside his mind, except the faint muffled voice of Alyna calling for him.

Drake then snapped back to reality and lept of his knees and hastely rushed to Alyna and unbound her from her constraints... Drake brought her close to him and embraced her as tears rolled down her face... Drake lifted his head back and looked into Alyna's eyes not knowing if he could trust his mind anymore, the situation was real to him yet he didn't know what to trust anymore... Drake melted back into Alyna's arms and spoke "Please, tell me what is going on?"
 
The mechanised figure walked in and saw Drake holding Alyna in his arms and marched over towards him and grabbed hold of his shoulder and span him round to face the mech....

"Drake...dont listen to what she has to say..." The mechanised figured reached up and removed its helmet andthe person within shook there head to bring there hair down...the person also appeared to be....Alyna as well!

"Listen to me Drake, move away from her, she isnt me shes a clone...this hole thing is a setup...I dont have time to explain but you have got to trust me" She extended her hand out to Drake "Please, I need you to trust me on this"

The other Alyna shot the Alyna in the mech suit an evil look then tried to get Drakes attention back with her...

"Dont listen to her Darling, I'm the Real Alyna...She tied me up in here and got the information where the suit was kept from me..." She protested.

They both stared each other down as each one took turns in trying to get Drake on there side, eventually they both said at the same time...

"Well, you have to choose, who do you think is the real Alyna?"....as they both stood, awaiting an answer...
 
Stephen kicked the door to the guard Station open as he heard "Well, you have to choose, who do you think is the real Alyna?" he smiled as he un-holstered his handgun and pulled the pin out of a grenade with his off hand "I don't really give a shit to be honest, I'm gonna kill you both" He announced as he glanced into the room with a smirk on his face "Okay, keep your hands up and palms closed or there will be a bullet to the head with your name on it" Stephen announced, at this moment if anyone moved to suddenly Stephen would shoot them in the face.
 
The scene had become all to unreal to Drake, how could this happen to him he thought, why had he gotten himself involved with all this crap in the first place? He should have just lived his life like any other citizen of Dealius, he should have just closed his eyes to the world around him and lived his life a blind man to all of this...

But none of that was possible, Drake was in too deep and now he had to think of some way to get himself out of this prediciment that could mean the end of him and the girl he loves, but then again how could he be for sure of which girl was the one he loved?

Suddenly without anything apparent happening a large grin became itself upon Drake's face and in a moment the sound of a gun snaping a bullet in to place sounded across the room...

Drake looked past Stephen to see that Koffin stoof with a pistol pointed to the back of the hooded boy's head, then Koffin spoke "Drop the gun and hand over the grenade and maybe i won't kill you..." Drake smiled a little too soon for he still feareed of a situation yet to come...

Drake then looked at both Alyna's and without hesitation impaled the Alyna in the chest with his claw mechanism knuckle brace... Blood splatter onto his face and he spoke "When I held you in my arms, it just wasn't the same... You are not Alyna!"
 
As the Alyna collapsed the floor, The mech suited Alyna ran to Drake and threw her arms around him and kissed him on the lips...

"Thankyou for trusting me, you know how much I love you" She proclaimed as she stood for a moment in his arms..."The reason I had to behave so distant is because I knew they were after me, I knew you were in danger"...she turned to face steven still holding Drakes hand.

"Why?" is all she could ask "Why do you want to kill us?"...."we dont want to hurt you only help you" she couldnt figure out what was going through the young mans mind as she clenched tightly to Drake as if to be shielding him from the whole ordeal.....
 
Stephen gritted his teeth as he felt the barrel of a gun press against the back of his head, he then smiled "you have no idea do you" he muttered as Alyna began speaking "No idea what so ever" Stephen slid his gun into it's holster and dropped the grenade, that he had replaced the pin of, to the floor.

"I am not a human being, i don't even work in the same way as you" Stephen began explaining as he slanted his head to the left and stepped back so the gun appeared in the corner of his eye, over his shoulder. He grabbed the handle of the gun and the end of the barrel in separate hands, he spun around and hit the clip release button so the magazine dropped from the handle, which he kicked before it reached the floor. and then pulled the barrel off of the gun causing the top half of it to fall apart.

Stephen then strode into the room and folded his arms "and don't worry about these camera's, as long as you have this" Stephen handed Alyna one of the guards key cards "non of the camera's will work, they emit a small EM field stopping all camera's in the area working" Stephen then walked over to the door and glanced over his shoulder "good luck" he announced before leaving and hitting his right shoulder off of Koffin's left.
 
Drake took the key cards from Alyna and looked into her eyes as he held her tight, he never wanted to split apart from her again, he couldn't handle loosing her one more time...

As Drake and Alyna grasped each other in a lovers hold Drake herd the sound of rushing guards coming towards them... Drake was infuriated, he wasn't going to let it end like this, they had come so far to getting out of this hell hole he had been living in for so long now... Drake was determined that it wouldn't and here and it wouldn't end now.

He looked Alyna in the eye and said "I love you Alyna... We are going to get the hell out of here..." Then Drake looked over at Koffin and as usual they shared the brief moment of silence looking at eachother and it was as if they knew exactly what the other one was thinking... Koffin smiled a weak smile and Drake looked as though he was going to cry, he knew full well how tonight would end...

Drake than grasped Alyna's arm and started to run towards the great gate that would lead them out of here, Koffin followed along beside them, and the sound of the guards grew louder and clearer, the guards were enclosing in on them.

They finally made it to the gate... They all looked upon the gate, it wasn't just any door to them, this was the door that would be their escape from this captivated fate they have been living in for so many years, this was a door to whole new world... a new life...
It was a beautiful moment filled with possibility that was suddenly shattered when the guards approached them... Drake let go of Alyna's arm and walked over to Koffin, they looked into each other, Drake knew this would be the last time he would see Koffin.

Drake took out the keys to the gate and placed them in the door... Koffin turned in the other direction and ran towards the guards in hopes that he could distract them long enough... A light eminated from the great and became brighter and brighter, until all that Drake could see where the last moment of Koffin's life as he was shot down multiple times by the guards... Time became at a halt for Drake and it was the the moment of Koffin's death became an eternity, before the light blinded them all a tear rolled down Drake's cheek as he turned to Alyna grabbed her by the arm and jumped into the gate...
 
Striding through the halls of the main fortress, Stephen checked the ammo in his gun, full. he walked for what seemed like hours through corridors that were practically the same in everyway. he finally came to a large double door "This is it, My Destiny" he announced as he pushed the doors open and strode into the room.

The room was pitch black and nothing could be seen, not even a hand infront of your face, Stephen pulled his bag from his back and un-zipped it and removed four flairs from the bag. He light the first and threw it, light the second and threw it left, then one right. he light the last one and held it in the air with his left hand as he slipped his bag back onto his back.

"I know your in here" he shouted "Show yourself" Stephen then noticed there was clapping comming from the back of the room "congradulations clone, you finally figured out who you really are" a voice announced. Stephen un-holstered his gun and pointed it forward "thats no way to show appreciation" the man's voice sounded again as he stepped into the light of the flair Stephen threw forward, putting the two men about 20 feet apart, Stephen pointed his gun at the man "After all, i am the closest thing you have to a father"

"nah, your just the bastard who calls himself the king" Stephen smirked as he glanced at the man through hating eyes "My destiny has been changed"

*BANG*
 
As Alyna and Drake moved quickly through the gates, emotionally driven by the sacrifice of Drakes best friend Koffin, suddenly Alyna paused for a second as she could hear the echo of a gunshot ringing out faintly....

Its at that point she suddenly remembered....her grandfather was still back there!!

She turned to Drake with a disheartened look.."I cant leave him I have to go back for him!" with that she embrassed Drake in a kiss before backing off and activating the full combat capabilities of the suit.

Moving at an extremely fast pace, she rocketted straight into the guards knocking them over like skittles and dived straight down a manhole...she knew she didnt have long, her fuel cells were closing in on empty, she charged through the sewers skimming the top of the surface of the disgusting water sending up small waves and ripples in her slip-stream, almost colliding with walls as she cornered wrecklessly in a desperate bid to reach her grandfather as quickly as possible....

She finally reached the secret wall leading to the basement and shoulderbarged it down, knowing the secret passage would be little to no use to them now anyway.

Finally she came across her grandfather in the lab looking like he had been waiting for hours....

"What kept ya kiddo, I was here thinkin you were gonna leave me here?" The old man tapped his foot and couldnt help but laugh, which in turn brought a smile to Alyna's face.

"We havent much time grandpa I gotta get you outta here" She replied.

"No time for that im afraid" He remarked pointing to several drums with wires along them all linking to an electronical device..."Someone needs to set these bombs off afterall, there all over the city at every major guard post, and the first one has to be triggered manually, Koffins idea as a distraction" He lowered his head as he spoke these words as he clenched the detonating trigger....."Just go kiddo, and remember I'm proud of you, I couldnt have asked for a better grand-daughter, well maybe if you were less of a pain in the butt and not so nosey!" He laughed slightly, with a tear in his eye.

Alyna gave her grandfather a final hug and turned to leave, as she re-fired up her jets and blasted back through the sewers and onto the street, tears streamed from her eyes as she remanised over the sacrifice of Koffin and her Grandfather so that she and Drake may escape, her mind then drifted back to Drake and she smiled as she had finally found someone that loves her as much as her Grandfather....

Blasting through the streets as quickly as she possibly could, the ground began to shake as cloud of crimson debrit began to errupt around her..."The Explosives!" she quickly mentioned as she darted back towards the gate, as the guards scattered around completely in a panic as the chain reaction destroyed there guard towers one by one....the camera systems began to fizzle and shut down and the oppression of the King finally came to a close...

The guards paid little or no attention to her as she wizzed through the gates back to where she had left Drake, finally reaching her destination, the jets of the mech-suit began to cough, splutter and die, the combat systems and monitoring tools went offline, as she then helplessly crashed to the ground and the suit skidded for a short distance to the feet of Drake, remaining motionless as the suit fully powered down....

((OOC: Btw this is Koffin, I have come back from long retirement, and I made a new account forgetting what my password and junk was -.-, and i'm going to finish this rp XD and im a little rusty so give me a break -.-))

Drake's vision had surrendered to the blinding light as the two jumped through the gates and awaited to see what sort of fate beyond what they had always known awaited them... Drake held onto Alyna tightly but was quickly shaken off when she said "I cant leave him I have to go back for him!", another rip in Drakes already torn feelings... Once again he would fear for the worst as she stubbornly took off without warning or deliberation.

But right before she took off Drake and Alyna embraced and through the blinding light their lips found each other miraculously for a moment... Their lips formed a kiss that words couldn't describe, a kiss that meant she would come back no matter what... Through the light their eyes managed to glance one last, and the Alyna broke the embrace and charged back through the gate one last time...

Drake dropped down to his knees and felt the ground underneath him and it was warm... and it was different then what he had known, the once paved streets of his old life had turned into something else, something new... Familiar yet different... and as the light started to dim it was as if Drake was being born into a new world, experiencing life for the first time... and as this overwhelming feeling took Drake, he heard a sputtering engine and a loud crash of Alyna as she crashed before him...

She made it back, and right after she had passed through the gates, they had closed behind her, sealing Drake and Alyna from the life of their pasts... The world came into view that second, and underneath both Alyna and Drake laid a beautiful sandy shore unlike any other thing they had seen... But the most amazing thing was the overwhelming ocean... and on the shore laid a small boat, with a letter...

"The Enigma: What is life all about... Entrapped their whole life in a secluded city always wondering what they were meant for, what life is all about... and on what? An island? To them this island was home, but they always longed for something else and now it was time for them to leave their forsaken homes, their lives, their loves, and everything that was once them... But in that escape they solved the enigma... They would always have each other, and that was to make them eternally happy, and that is what life is about, to be happy and love one another... And no matter where their home was, no matter where their lives took them, and no matter how their love might change they... They would always have love"
