Eureka Academy: Exitium {S/D}

Revised version

Name: Elie Mires

Age: 17

Title: Student, Various titles depicting green. Her personal favorite is the Green Queen.

House Study: Dominus House

Appearance:

Everything she wears is green as she stands in at 5 feet'1 inch. Her cowboy hat that sits on her forest green hair that falls down and stops at her waist. Her upper attire consist of a long sleeve shirt and jacket that stops just above of her midriff. Her short shorts is also green as stocking/legging starts a few inches down from her short shorts and reaches to her shoes. The stocking/legging has 4 brown belts strapped at the topof the legging/stocking as her shoes has heels on them and is as green as the rest of her outfit which she has come to name the Flame rider Outfit.

On her hands
are green fingerless gloves which is green as well. Her various weapons that she has are all green. Pretty much, you will never find her without some sort of green on her or nearby. Every now and then, she swaps her hat with a pirate's eye patch which is green or a nose to mouth mask which is green as well. Her nickname in the fashion world is the Green Noble. (Yeah. I have a thing for green. XD)

Personality: Eile is no nonsense girl that has a thirst for travel. The various assortment of weapons she has is testament to that as well as her curiosity that comes from travel. While she may seem aloof and almost impossible to approach, people that are willing to make the effort is rewarded with a kind girl with loyalty worth it's weight in gold. Anyone who happens to annoy her tends to feel her annoyance by her tossing various items ranging from non lethal to undeniably lethal. But that is only one side of the mystery that is Eile.

While on a mission, she becomes all business as she is only focused on the objective. She can handle several deviations from the missions. But the one thing that she can't stand is someone interfering with her fight when she knows that she can handle it. The unfortunate soul that interferes with her battle tends to be removed from the battle and mission painfully. This comes from her fighting style of fighting by herself with no aid.

Weapons: Class based weapons. The weapons Eile has is made from an other world version of iron which is 3 time stronger then the Earth version of iron.
The weapons she use is dictated by attack #1. So by default, she is unarmed. All of Eile's weapons reappears near her if the weapon is too far for her to reach.

Warrior: She has a double edge scythe named the Devil Slayer

Ranger: Two 17 bullet magazine Sig Sauers
Alchemist: No weapons but uses various crystal balls the size of marbles with the power of the 4 elements in it. Water fires a large compressed water ball at the enemy. Fire sends a line of fire at the enemy. Wind blast the enemy or object back and earth sends a sizable ball of earth towards the enemy

Skills/Abilities: This section is where you list a number of the skills and/or abilities your character possesses. The skills listed will be able to be unlocked with the gain of each star level(unlock new star levels by completing missions). The number of stars in a star level determines the number of skills a character can use. If a character has 4 stars in their star level out of 10 then that character can only use the skills listed in the #s 1-4 slots listed here. It is highly recommended to list your abilities in a balanced manner or from weakest to strongest. It is in that way that you can truly see your character grow and develop throughout Eureka Academy instead of being a powerhouse from the very beginning and getting bored. The skills that go in these slots include fighting techniques, spells, summon, psychic, any special power or physical ability your character uses in combat. If an ability is too powerful or has any chance of making a character invincible I will discuss the removal or revising of that ability.

1. Class Roulette: 9 cards comes out and rapidly spins around Eile as she grabs 2 cards. The two cards dictates the two fighting style she can use. The cards can't be saved if Eile want to use another class. All 3 class have their version of the following attacks. Also, no attacks can be used before Class Roulette is used first.

2. Draft Slider.
Warrior: A basic sliding slash.
Ranger: Slides in and shoots at the feet of the enemy.
Alchemist: Slides and throws fire elemental crystals that engulf the enemy.

3. Hi Rizer
Warrior: Charges and body checks the enemy.
Ranger: Using the butt of her guns, Eile pistol whips the enemy down before kicking the enemy back.
Alchemist: Eile throws a wind based crystal and water based crystal. The water crystal stuns the enemy before the wind crystal blast the enemy back.

4. Ran Ken
Warrior: Slams the enemy with the blunt end of the scythe before slashing at the enemy.
Ranger: Eile fires two shots simultaneously at the enemy before Kicking them back.
Alchemist: Eile smashes a earth crystal and a fire crystal together. A piece of burning earth is sent flying towards the enemy.

5. Shock
Warrior: An aura of electricity surrounds the blade as it discharges towards the enemy.
Ranger:
An aura of electricity surrounds the gun as Eile fires bullets. As soon as the bullets reaches the enemy's proximity, the electricity explodes the bullets, showering the enemy with shrapnel.
Alchemist: Eile smashes a fire, wind, and water crystal together, creating an aura of electricity that surrounds her and discharges towards the enemy at random interval.

6. Frezzer
Warrior: Unleash slashwave of frigid ice towards the enemy.
Ranger: Eile fires a bullet into the enemies' feet, freezing the bottom of the shoe to the ground on contact.
Alchemist: Eile smashes a water and wind crystal together and unleash a torrent of blistering cold snow storm at the enemy. It does not do damage but it will freeze the enemy on the spot which will thaw after a few seconds.

7. Quick Draw
Warrior: Lai strike
Ranger: Quick draw and fires a shot off toward the enemy.
Alchemist: Quickly smashes the 4 elemental crystals together to send a non elemental beam at the enemy.

8. Life Drain
Warrior: A long range sword slash that heals the user and her allies.
Ranger: Fires beam of light towards the enemy that heals herself.
Alchemist: Eile smashes the 4 elemental crystal and unleash a beam to all enemies, slowly draining them of life while quickly recovering her own. It ends with a finishing strike from the beam itself.

9. Demigod : Same for all class. The user burst in holy light and emerges with wings that can't be used for flight. In this state, the attack # 10 is now accessible. At the same time, the user's health, magic powers, stamina and injuries is recovered at an accelerated rate and it is harder for the enemy to knock Eile back or interrupt her spell casting. However, this does not make her immune to damage.

10. Erg of the gods.
Warrior: Twenty swords emerge from the surrounding and slashes or stabs at the enemy Eile is fighting at random intervals, from various directions, and varying distance.
Ranger: Eile starts firing bullets as afterimages appears as well that fires one second afterward, quickly turning a standard gunfire into a proverbial bullet hell.
Alchemist: Eile smashes all crystals together to unleash several large beams of elemental energies.

History: Eile Mires had an ordinary birth. Born from a normal family, it was the scene that Eile grew up with. In a dead beat village with nothing to do, her thirst of travel soon grew as she made every attempt to escape the village and roam the world. Most of her plans failed outright until she hit the age of 12. One night, she slipped out of her bedroom and slipped into a crate that was heading out of the city. Soon enough outside of the city, Eile celebrated as she soon went on her way.

She soon learned a lot about the world outside of her village and learned about the threat of the shade invasion. Knowing that she lacks effective power to fight them, Eile was stumped when she found a flyer on a city wall. It gave her an idea. If she could learn to be effective in combat, maybe she might have a chance to explore more of the whole while dealing with the threat of the Shade. With her mind set, Eile reached the airship port and stepped on the airship leading toward the academy.

Well abilities aren't just restricted to "magic". You could give her more fighting styles, the ability to jump higher, and other useful physical things as well. A lot of people assume this is FFVII Advent children and that their characters can go jumping miles high into the sky and fall down without a scratch. That's not the case here. >.< Maybe you can split one ability into many and elaborate on the split parts?

Sorry for making it complicated. I wanted to make a system that allowed characters to learn instead of having everyone all powerful from the start.

Oh, i know its mroe than just magic. Its just for some odd reason... i got writers cramp just at that point. Rare for that to happen to me with character writing.

Question: Is Geomancy considered magic or does it fall under other?

When I looked stuff up about it it was considered magic. :hmmm: So that's what I'll go by. And I finished your badge. I love the color you picked. :hmmm:

But anyways everyone the bios are linked to the badges so if you look in the student/staff records all you'd need to do it click on the badges in order to check out a bio. Hopefully this is much easier and organized. ^_^

Out of curiosity really; @Levont Fon Lavin as I was reading through your revised character bio, I'm wondering about your ninth skill. That skill makes Attack#10 available? What's that mean?

It basically means that Eile can't use that attack until she enters demigod mode. Consider it like an ultimate skill with a restriction on it.

Where exactly does this roleplay take place?? On Earth, or an alternate place?

Well it's really not specified on account that all races and creatures are accepted. It's not earth since there's no magic here and Earth is boring enough as it is :hmmm: It's in a dimension connected to many other dimensions. Should we call it something? We could make up a name for the world! Let's have a vote! >=3 Or an army of suggestions. >.>

Just call it the world of Eureka, if you want to call this world something.
It's nice... simple and straight to the point.

On a less relevant note..

@[Exoskeleton]

The picture you used in your first post. I can't help but think it looks a lot like those floating islands in Chrono Trigger, the ones from the Dark Ages where the Zeal Palace was. Is that it?

EDIT:

On a more relevant note...

Since the academy is 'Eureka Academy', why not name the world after Archimedes, since that word is attributed to him? Maybe using the name outright seems too unimaginative so... how about anagrams like... I suppose, Cadremesih?

Er that picture specifically was just some floating island art I found in google images. O__O I get what you're referencing though. Chrono Trigger <3

Not really for giving the world and the school the same name :hmmm: I'll try coming up with something when I'm gone. ^_^

Oli, I had a slight question before I can continue with one of my characters. With skills and abilities, we unlock them in order from 1-10, right? What about characters who have been at the school for a while? DisCo members? StuCo members? (Lol... StuCo...) Also, what do we do if all but one of our character's abilities is an offensive one? One of my characters only has one skill used for combat. The rest are for everyday practical solutions, fun, or useful things.

I could run those by you if you'd like.

Also, if this has already been answered, I'mma just herpaderp.

EDIT: Oh, look at dat shit, I answered my own question by looking at the OP.

Herpaderpderpderpderp

and now you've made me even more a fan of Kirby...thanks a lot Ringo. :hmph:

Anyway, I might rescind the decision of not making a second character, depending on the situation.

Name: Alyss Rivece Mithrandir

Age: 17

Title: Student Council Accountant

House Study: Magia House

Appearance:
technocrat_1337130684.jpg

Alyss has never really been very tall. She stands in at a simple five feet, four inches. Although her hair covers her ears, they’re pointed upwards, as is normal due to the fact that she’s Elven. Her hair is a ruby red color, and is easily one of the things that stand out most about her. Her eyes are a rather light emerald green. She is also very light, as her build is slender and she only weighs in at 103 pounds. Her skin is very pale due to the fact that she doesn’t get out in the sun much at all.

Her clothes are very elegant in style. To most people, it seems she’s always dressed up for some kind of formal event. She wears a white long-sleeved button down blouse. Around the collar of her shirt, she wears a black tie. Above her shirt, she wears a red vest. Her skirt is rather long and goes slightly below the knee. It’s completely open in the front, which is why she wears a pair of black slacks below it. Her boots are ankle length and have a two inch heel.

Personality: Alyss is, by nature, really quiet. One could walk into a room with her in it and have no idea she’s in there if they don’t see her. More than likely, whenever one meets her, they’ll find that she has her head in a book and something to take notes down on. It’s not only the fact that she’s a bit shy though, she just doesn’t enjoy speaking if she has nothing important to say. However, when the time comes, she can put herself out there. She won’t enjoy it too much, though.

She can be rather light hearted and very well mannered, and she is… most of the time. There are exclusions though. She could never force herself to be well mannered to someone that isn’t an authority figure, to people that are flat-out rude, or to someone she simply does not like. While getting on Alyss’ bad side isn’t easy, it most certainly isn’t hard. She will hold a grudge, even if it’s in silence. Once a friend of Alyss, most find they have a rather good friend on their side. Once an enemy, she either won’t acknowledge them at all.

Though she is somewhat shy, when she opens up around others, she’s not afraid to speak her mind. Keep in mind, this works both ways. Once she opens up around friends, they’ll find conversations with her pleasant. If she’s forced to open up around someone she doesn’t like or find rude, she can be condescending and even venomous. When she speaks, she refuses to use contractions because she considers them to be lazy. She speaks with a somewhat gentle English accent. And as most people who come to know her find out… she has a somewhat bratty streak.

Alyss tries to avoid combat no matter what. Not because she thinks she won’t win… but because she knows she won’t win. Her abilities are simply not made for fighting as much as they are for practical everyday solutions, research, and other things. While Alyss loves the night time, she’s also very afraid of the dark. She also has a slight case of aphenphosmphobia, which is a fear of being touched. If touched, it has to be by someone she knows, trusts… and not for very long.

Weapons: N/A

Skills/Abilities:

  1. Lightning bolt – Using this, she can fire lightning from her fingertips, or simply hold an orb of lightning in the palm of her hand for light. This is the only offensive skill that she has.
  2. Arcane Doorways – Using this ability, she can “enchant” a door to go somewhere that it doesn’t. For example, she can make a closet door suddenly open up to a classroom. This only works for a little while. Once she steps through it, the door goes back to normal.
  3. Teleportation – She can teleport from one place to another. She can also teleport people under the condition that she is touching them, not them holding her. This has limits. The more people or farther she teleports, the more tiring it is. By herself, she can teleport up to 10 times without issue. When this ability is abused, her nose starts to bleed. If she tries to teleport more or further than she should, her nose bleeds and she gets huge headaches.
  4. Telekinesis (not to be confused with telepathy) – Using her powers she can lift up to objects five times her weight and move them around effortlessly.
  5. Unbreakable lock/effortless unlock – With this power, Alyss can make a door that is completely unable to be opened, even with the key. She can also unlock just about any door without a key.
  6. Barriers – She can put up barriers around herself, and others like a force field. It’s completely unbreakable while it’s up. But every hit to it does damage to Alyss.
  7. Flight – Does what it says right on the tin.
  8. Seer’s Eye – Drawing deeper into her powers, she can “summon” a giant glowing blue eye in the sky above her. It links directly to her mind and allows her to see everything. The eye has a sight up to 300 miles, once focused on something it can hear it clear as day. However, this ability is not to be taken lightly. The toll it takes on Alyss is great. After a mere ten minutes of use, her nose begins to bleed and her headaches become catastrophic.
  9. Dimension rip – Somewhat like her Arcane Doorway ability, but instead of doors it’s much like a tear in fabric in the air. It leads to a dimension of Alyss’ choosing.
  10. Pocket dimension – A very hard concept to grasp, and a very hard ability to maintain; it links with Arcane Doorway to create a doorway to a dimension of Alyss’ own design. In it, she can create what she wants, and even do what she wants that she normally couldn’t do under normal circumstances. It’s much like a dream world, but everything is tangible and she controls it. Everything in the dimension is very real while she’s in it. However, once she leaves, it’s no longer of any use. For example, eating an apple in it would fill her up, but walking out of the dimension would cause her to feel hungry again as the apple wasn’t really real.

History: Alyss was born into a rich family, and as such has been spoiled the vast majority of her life. It’s quite evident in her accent and the clothes that she wears. This has caused Alyss to be somewhat bratty at times. Back when she was younger, her family tried time and time again to pick up archery and things of that nature. They wanted her to be like most other Elves that she lived around. However, Alyss had no such intention. Her Father was a powerful Mage as well as her Mother. While she didn’t want to be just like them, she wanted to be somewhere down the same path.

So Alyss opted for the Arcane route. She began sticking her nose into books and doing all of the research possible. Her parents didn’t agree with her studies, but she didn’t need them to. Eventually she set herself up to go to Eureka Academy and convinced her parents to give her their blessing. Being rich and spoiled, her life was mostly uneventful. She didn’t have many friends as she never went outside and was completely unable to relate to other students. She hoped to change that by going to EA, and has sworn to take part in any mission she can, if only for being able to have something worthy of writing about.

argh.... Alyss and Escaflowne is going to have a fair bit over overlapping powers. Ah well.
