Ever listen to video game music while on the computer?

Do you ever listen to video game music while you're on the computer, and if so, how often?

  • No, but I have thought about it.

Yes I used to listen to game music on my computer all the time, not like I used to though, just about the better half of 2006 to early 2010. I still do kinda, now I listen to alot of wwe themes now, mash ups, etc. Every now and then I play some game music, but ever since I been on this site Ive been playing lots of it every day again now lol Its mainly from FF,Star Ocean,Xenosaga or the tales games and somewhat tekken 6 like manji valley for example. I still have all those tracks on my second computer and alot of new ones on my 3rd comp.

I like Final Fantasy 7 theme music, I have an extended orchestral Aeriths theme, Battle theme and Victory theme on my phone on don't listen to it so much on my computer but I use them as my ringtones quite often.

I like listening to Zelda Ocarina of Time's soundtrack, its very soothing for some songs and I enjoy reminiscing on them, plus -- I love that game to pieces and the orchestra versions of the song are amazing :gonk:
And sometimes Majora's Mask as well as Assassins Creed; because damn it, Jesper Kyd has mad skills and can make a beautiful song, recognize.

I listen to video game all the time. It is what I have the most on my iTunes and Zune software, as well as my Zune HD.

It's not something I do normally unless it's a really good track from the Persona series, but I haven't been unknown to. It's just with the way RPG music flows, it's unnerving in most games I play on the computer.

Like Last Order from the FF7CC OST... sets a great feeling with its opening when i take a BG queue in WoW, but when the lead guitar comes in, it just craps on the feeling and doesn't synergize very well.

I usually have something playing either on the computer or from iPod dock, and I listen to as much video game music as anything else. A lot of it does simply consist of FF music, though I do also listen to a range of things from epic sounding Zelda/Elder Scrolls stuff, to cheesy Sonic tunes or just simple repetitive background music from stuff which I find helps me get into a certain state of mind. I do listen to a lot of fan remixes as well, there's so much awesome fan music on the internet that you can get for free.
