(Some call it "Fuffy" but...eh. I'm not too keen on that)

This club is for the semi-canonical romantic relationship between Faith Lehane and Buffy Summers from Joss Whedon's Buffyverse.
There will be no "but it couldn't happen and this is why". I've had enough of those debates. >>

So, it's pretty obvious from their actions Faith and Buffy got teh hots for one another. Just look at this site for details.

Also Doug Petrie, writer and producer of certain Faith-based episodes like Bad Girls, said in commentary there were definite romantic and sexual subtext between these two gals.

Uhm. This club is dead. I'd like to join but er... I get the feeling that I'd be the only member.
 
We are full of win. I guess you can't expect too many Buffy fans on a Final Fantasy board... oh well =(

This actually makes me want to watch the series all over again. In fact, each season is being sold 20 bucks a piece at HMV. I might pick up the first few seasons tomorrow, maybe.
 
Oi oi, sign me up, I must of over looked this, I worked out taht the boyfriend has got me the entire buffy boxset on DVD so my Buffy obsession is gunna be reawakened, now jut to get rid of all the videos I have :wacky:

I was always more of an Angel/Buffy fan (I'm a sucker for angst) but Faith/Buffy... it's just so... right. Plus, it helps that in the comics Buffy is now a lesbian.

Throw Spike in the mix and the world would internally combust from the sexy. Damn, now I really want to watch this series again!
 
Holy moley, when did the lesbian happen? Is this series 8 with the books/comics whatever they are or is this unrelated? :gasp:

That....is very interesting....Buffy lesbian....phwoar. I just remember watching one episode when Faith first came in and Buffy seemed so straight laced compared to her, she would have SO led the then innocent Buffy astray
 
Yeah, I read the summaries a while back, and Buffy indeed has a girlfriend in the season 8 comics (girlfriend isn't Faith... poo). I haven't got the chance to take a look at the comics yet, but I think I might after I watch the series through once more (I just bought the first three seasons! :) )

and yes, Faith was so hardcore when she first showed up. She most definitely wou;d've corrupted the sweet and innocent Buffy, muahahaha :P
 
I had a look at the books on Amazon, although Im not too sure what to make of them....

Anyway, Going way off topic to general Buf (theres a topic somewhere which I might have to revive >_>)

It would have been an interesting twist for the girls to get together in season 8, although, I get the feeling she is only made lesbian for the fans which kinda sucks. Id like to see how they explain that one >_> So Im assuming its gunna be some other random slayer. The sexual tension between those 2 is undeniable though :monster:
 
I'm pretty sure it was fanservice actually. From what I remember it was some random slayer, sigh. It would've been better fanservice if she got with Faith, geez.

I dunno, even though the comics are "canon" because Whedon writes them... I dunno, to me the real ending was the end of season 7, and after that, who knows?

and hey, you never know, Faith IS included in the season 8 comics... so they still can go down that route if they choose :monster:
