Gotta go with Rydia - Black mage summoners PWN.

Plus her apperance and re-appaerence were very dramatic and very cool.

And the green hair just pwns

Rydia had the most backstory at the beginning of the game.
Later on in the game Cecil learns of his past and such and that makes him an interesting and cool character.

I started out liking Kain, he was cool, a worthy dragoon.
But he left early in the game... and him at the end was meh, so.. meh.

I liked Cecil too, he was neat, but.. after he became a Paladin, he was schiBe.

So I went with Cid. Hilarious character, made me laugh a few times.
And unlike -some- characters, he just couldn't die. XD

Kain, no contest. The Dragoon class has always been my favourite and Kain is a really interesting character. His rivalry with Cecil stems from his 'crush' on Rosa, but he finally overcomes that after he completes his trial in the lunar ruins (GBA version). It's a shame you couldn't use him throughout the entire game really. He would've made a better main character than Cecil IMO.

I liked Rydia and Cecil, but my fave was Edge, mostly because of his attitude. But I usually like characters like that ^^

My favorite is Cecil of course I think his sprite is very cool.
