Auron is the biggest by far but since other people have said him I'm going to throw one off the radar. Steiner yes Steiner the dude is loyal and what he says is what he does. When he said to Zidane "Its against the knights code to abandon a brother in arms" it was pretty bad ass.

Balthier and Beatrix are both honorable mentions also. Balthier was the only of the main crew that really mattered, and Beatrix with how she played around with you in battle only to completely crap on your face.

still suspiscious that three people mentioned three characters. but whatever. i dont care if anyone thinks he's overrated, i still think Cloud is a great badass character. Auron, i think he's good, but i never really paid too much attention to him. Balthier never seemed like the badass type, but i guess he fits in the category.

Paine's a total badass, but people saying Beatrix are right as well, she was really cool, sadly she wasn't in the party for long. I get why people say Auron but...he's just too obvious, I thought Jecht was more badass

anyways, there really aren't that many Badasses, because no one really makes me go crazy over them other than Cloud, sometimes Auron, and several others. its probably because i played final fantasy X late. but other than that, i would consider Gogo from Final fantasy VI. Although i haven't played Versus nor Type-0, i do already have my mind set as Noctis, Seven, and Sice to be Badasses.

Regardless, i tend to think Vincent Valentine is also a Badass, however i dont know if i mentioned him before. I especially like him in his Chaos form

I have checked the entire thread, and I did not see any post by ultimadream (before his latest post about Auron). Not even a deleted post (I can view deleted posts). His Auron post is his only post in this thread before Razberry Knight's post regarding spamming. You may have seen his reference to Auron in other threads. This is fine because the thread may be discussing about something else.

I would like to urge everyone to *please* as far as possible do not post something that may offend another, even to the slightest.

Other than that. I do t see how Balthier fots in the badass category but at the same time. Many people have different interpretation of Badass.
It would be great if Final fantasy had more anti heroes so it could be easier to establish badasses
