Favorite Sonic Character

Knuckles is the best playable character form the early games if you like it incredibly easy. I could skip half a bloody level with his gliding technique :P

I don't like the new games, they suck balls. Sonic should've stayed 2D!
 
Sonic. The rest of the characters just don't match up to him. He's the best and always will be.
 
I actually happen to be a collect of the comics, or used to be at least. I plan on getting back into soon, but the comics I have are from a good distance back.

In the past, Tails was just one of the Freedom Fighters, the youngest and most eager of the bunch. Now, he has matured to become a Zonerunner, able to cross between zones to do whatever duties.

All of the characters have changed significantly over time, and it has been a pleasure to watch them all grow. There are many characters that no one ever sees in video games because they are comic exclusive.

One of my favorites is St. Geoffery of the Royal Secret Service. He and his team do espionage tasks, each with their own abilities, but this was mainly during and after the fall of Robotnik and the rise of Eggman. Character-wise, he was loyal to the crown, yet sly as a ... skunk. An almost equivalent of Metal Gear's Snake, just not as manly.

These are the characters that I remeber the best, but if I had to choose from one of the common ones, it would be Tails. It is prophesied that he is the 'Chosen One' (in the Tails mini-series), and after glancing though one of the current comics, I am beginning to see why..
 
Am I the only one saddened to see this thread being posted in a Nintendo section?

Anyways, I'll buck the trend and opt for a pair from the Chaotix crew: Espeo the chameleon and Mighty the armadillo. If we're not counting them then it has to be Sonic, he's a hedgehog, but with attitude! *Drum roll*
