theres so many to pick from - oasis, the beatles blur etc
whos ur favourite??

mine is definately the libertines without a doubt i love their sound i seen them live when they were still together and they were amazing, even tho pete doherty was wasted out his brains, they were still fantastic. Oasis come second, i love all theyr songs.
 
The Beatles!:D

I especially like the fact that they're likely the greatest band the world has ever known, though you can make arguments about that.

The Beatles are lengedary :) So I'll have to go for them.
My current recent favourite British band is Lost Prophets. It's probably just a phase.

FUCK!! lostprophets i forgot about them they are amazing!!! my fav british band along with the libertines.
 
Lostprophets rock, why there should be shame from liking them is beyond me.

There's plenty of good ones ( especially if you start going back in the decades ) but my number one, as the username suggests, is Iron Maiden. They are my number one band, so many rockin' classics to choose from!
 
I've got a list of awesome British bands. Obviously Arctic Monkeys are by far my favourite, but there are plenty of others. I like Muse a hell of a lot too. Oasis are one of the best long-running bands in the world IMO. The Fratellis are looking good too
 
Best British band ever? Hard to pick one, but if you want contenders than: The Beatles, Radiohead, Spiritualized, Super Furry Animals and The Delgados. That lot are all top class, though if I had to pick a personal favourite it'd be Radiohead. In recent years, some of the best 'new' or recent British bands have been Guillemots, Franz Ferdinand and Elbow.

Pink Floyd gets my vote, no one comes close to these guys...

oasis is very good aswell, whats the story morning glory is a great album...

pimk floyd another band i forgot about they are amazing dave gilmour is a legend

Arguably the greatest Rock and Roll band ever?

Maybe I'm simply biased, but Zeppelin gets my vote.
