Favourite Disney Song

I really love many songs from the Lion King! My personal favorites are:
- Circle of life
- We are one
- Not one of us
- Endless night (from musical though)
- Shadow land (also)

But I've listened to I'll make a man out of you and colours of the wind many times as well.

There's probably a reason nobody has mentioned it previously, but my favourite of all, as I recall, is Be Prepared in the Lion King. There's probably a number from Aladdin (more specifically Jafar) too but it's been so long since I've watched a Disney movie.................

Not even Kingdom Heats helps spur my memory. :pacman: 16 years ago alone since The Lion King. xD

Hellfire - Hunchback of Notre Dame
Out There - Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Bells of- Y'know what? The entire soundtrack for this movie belongs here :3

And while I know it's not from a disney movie; the extended version of "Toxic Love" from Ferngully is another favorite. Only time you'll get a song in which Tim Curry sings "I feel good, a special kind of..horny~~" in a kids's movie.

I like newer Disney music like Pirates of the Carribean, The Incredibles and Up. But I also like the older songs too because without them, the newer music might've not existed.

I like Part of your World (Little Mermaid) and Reflection (Mulan) the most. They're such classics, and I even sing them in the shower sometimes xD

I do like a lot of villian songs, can't believe I forgot to list them XD

Be Prepared (Lion King): Great song about murder XD

Hellfire (Hunchback of Notre Dame): I'm surprised that this ever made it into a disney film.

Savages (Pochahontas): Very intense

Poor Unfortunant Souls: I love how the song starts out so calm and almost innocent and slowly builds up to where it gets very intense.

1: Part of your World (Little Mermaid)
2: Prince Ali (Aladdin)
3: Colors (Pochahontas)
4: Hellfire (Hunchback of Notre Dame)
5: Circle of Life (Lion King)
5: He lives in you (Lion King 2) such a awesomely awesome song! *listens to it*

Hellfire (Hunchback of Notre Dame): I'm surprised that this ever made it into a disney film.

Keep in mind though, the movie did not end up making it into the pantheon of 90's era Disney Classics the way stuff like The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast did. It did kinda pay for its maturity level with a less than stellar reception.

Thankfully, I think that's changing as people who were younger when it first came out are able to look back on it now and realize that despite its comparative darkness, it was a very good movie.

I have lots of them. The Disney movie songs are just beautiful:

Part of your world - The Little Mermaid
Kiss the girl - The Little Mermaid
Colors of the wind - Pocahontas
Reflection - Mulan
I'll make a man out of you - Mulan
Beauty and the Beast - Beauty and the Beast
Go the distance - Hercules

I virtually like about 80 percent of Disney songs so, yeah. :lew:

1.) Whole New World - Aladdin
2.) Colors of the Wind - Pocahontas
3.) Under the Sea - Little Mermaid :-)ohoho:)
4.) Arabian Nights - Aladdin even though it's rather short...
5.) Circle of Life - Lion King
6.) Can You Feel the Love Tonight? - Lion King
7.) Just Can't Wait to be King - Lion King

I'm a big fan of Disney songs. They're catchy and make a film even more exciting. These are my personal favourites.

Go The Distance in Hercules. It's quite the journey song and I certainly look to this song to become something. It fits the theme of Hercules becoming a hero.

Reflection in Mulan. I adore that Christina Aguilera sang this and she did it perfectly. It really worked well in the film.

Hakuna Matata in The Lion King. It's a fun song that you can sing along to and catch the words easily.

A Whole New World in Aladdin. I take my hat off to whoever wrote this. It's a beautiful song and really helped me to understand the film a whole lot better.

I watched Hercules last night and I really liked the songs, despite that it was gospel music set in ancient Greek XD

One Last Hope

Zero to Hero

I Won't Say I'm in Love

A Star is Born

My favorite part is "That's Phil's boy!" :)

And Tangled has some very pretty songs. My favorite is "I See the Light"

Mulan's Reflection was the best. Best best best. It was beautiful and powerful, which not many Disney songs are. Not to mention I'm not completely unbiased because I love Mulan ^_^

The Lion King has always been my favourite in terms of the music, I think I more or less loved every song in that movie and to some extent Lion King 2 as well. Favourite individual song would have to be 'Can you Feel the Love tonight?', particularly the end title version sung by Elton John. Outside of the Lion King, I also really loved the Beauty and the Beast theme and Once Upon A Dream from Sleeping Beauty.

A Whole New World (Aladdin), Reflection (Mulan)
God Help The Outcasts (The Hunchback Of Notre Dame) and Go the Distance (Hercules).

The meaning of these songs never fail to touch me.

When will my Life Begin, I have a Dream, Mother Knows Best, I see the Light - From Tangled, I love this whole sound track! Oh my gosh, this movie makes me feel like I am a kid again! These songs are so happy and enjoyable!

I Won't Say I'm in Love from Hercules, I love Meg, she's so strong and empowered, and her love song is so uncliche, Disney really hit the mark with this one.

Under the Sea - Little Mermaid, Never had a Friend like Me - Aladdin, Be our Guest - Beauty and The Beast, I just Can't Wait to Be King - Lion King, so many! I can't even get 'em all down :gasp:

Make a Man Out of You - Mulan.

Simply put, it's amazing. It's brilliant. Fantastic. It's so upbeat, and positive. I have no words to describe it. It was put together utterly spectacularly.

And then in second place, would be all the other music from Mulan. :P

My favorite Disney song has to be " Once upon a dream " from Sleeping Beauty, because it's a part of childhood memories, growing up and playing the song's tune on the piano. :britt: The song is really sweet, imaginative and romantic.

Also like Why Should I Worry ? From Oliver and Company. You'll be in my heart from Tarzan, Reflection Mulan, A Dream is a wish your heart makes Cinderella and Poor Unfortunate Souls from Little Mermaid are awesome too.
