Favourite Movie

You know, saying my favourite movies is one task too difficult. But I'll list a few right here.

- High School Musical
- Harry Potter
- X-Men
- Spider-Man
- Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Mamma Mia!
- Hairspray

I can't think of any more, there's too many to list. But as of lately, musicals have become quite appealing to me.

Hmm...There are soo many.Here are a couple
The Lord of the Rings
The Last Samurai
The Pursuit of Happyness
The Passion
Braveheart
Dragonheart
Gladiator
Kingdom of Heaven
The Bourne Trilogy
The Chronicles of Narnia
The 007 Series
Jumper
plus it keeps going...

These are my favorite movies:

1. Red Cliff, based off the Three Kingdoms period. The fight scenes were entertaining because it showed blood. I thought John Woo did a great job with the casting of the characters.

2. X-Men series, I have all 3 on DVD and I love Hugh Jackman's role as the Wolverine.

3. Pirates of the Caribbean series, all 3 of them were good and funny to watch.

4. Titanic, my favorite romantic movie ever.

5. My Neighbor Totoro, this is one of my favorite anime movies that I had ever watched. It was cute, funny, and enjoyable.

6. Spirited Away, my second favorite anime movie I have seen. The little Sootballs were cute.

Mulholland Drive.

I've never had a movie affect me in quite the same way. I remember being somewhat underwhelmed the first time I saw it, but so blisteringly curious that I had to watch it again...and then over and over again. It becomes clearer still with each subsequent viewing, even though I must have watched it at least twenty times by now.

I've never really connected as much to any character in anything as much as I have with Diane. It's...fuck, beautiful. It still leaves me absolutely fucking breathless.

Greatest movie in history:
Smokey and the Bandit
How can you not love a movie with EVERYTHING!
Awesome Cars, Trucks, CB Radios, AWESOME music, extremely funny
if you have never seen this movie, you have to, I LOVE it!
I've watched it over 100 times, and never tire of it, I wish I was alive when it came out in theaters
even people who aren't car guys love this movie

I don't know if I have an all-time favourite film, but this is certainly near the top of any list for me. It's definitely a contender for best movie of this current decade. There's a dream-like quality to it, and the way the film shifts two-thirds of the way through is both bewildering and brilliant. I love it - David Lynch is an excellent director and this is probably his best film in a top drawer career.

I recently watched War, a film about a hitman being hunted down by an FBI agent because the hitman killed the Agent's partner. Jason Statham Vs Jet Li...OMG awesum fight scenes possibly my two favorite actors ever.

01. The Matrix (all series): I'm pretty in love with the Matrix :wacky: the effects, the romance, the action, the story and the horror. It's the best adventure film,

02. POTC Dead Man's Chest: It's full of hilarious quotes xD

03. The Da Vinci Code: We can believe what we want but we will never know the truth...

My favourite movies are:

Advent Children: Final Fantasy VII (love it, could do with a bit more colour [watch the beginning, everything's grey!])

Secret: Chinese love story starring Jay Chou. About a piano piece which can transport the pianist forward or backward in time depending on the speed which it is played.

Bleach: Memories Of Nobody: Bleach kicks ass. So does this movie.

Pan's Labyrinth: Spanish movie about a girl who.. can't remember, but something to do with a Satyr and a freaky creature with no eyes on his face (they're on his palms).

Hellboy II: The Golden Army: I just love it.

I have to say that they did a pretty good job with Twilight. I adore the funny bits (that were not in the book). The actors are very well picked out, Robert Pattison did a great job. From being Cedric Diggory (from Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire) to the main man Edward Cullen. The music is exceptionally awesome. I just love Supermassive Black Hole by Muse!
Can't wait for the second movie!

favorite movie would have to be the pirate of the carrabean movies. i thought it was really interesting and fun to watch

My favourite movie is Hero. It is the most visually stunning film I have ever seen - every sequence is a artistic masterpiece.

Other mentions would be Amityville Horror (the original), Evil Dead (for it's gory hilarities) and 2001: A Space Odyssey, because it is also one of the most visually stunning films I have watched, plus I'm a Stanley Kubrick fan.

The Saw films are also up there, although I find them disturbing. Well, torture in itself is rather disturbing >_> but these films are more intelligently written, than the average slasher films. I like that they have more depth, rather than just your average 'bad psychotic guy, massacres young sexy teenagers' routine.

My all time favorite movie is Gattaca I think.
Great, great movie imo.
It gives you a lot to think about, and what happens in the movie could be possible in the very near future.

Other mentions would be Amityville Horror (the original)
I actually thought the 2005 version was better than the original. It's one of the few remakes that I actually prefer to the original, but for some reason I felt much more drawn in to the story. Although I much prefer James Brolin to Ryan Reynolds any day.

My favorite movie is probably the shinning with Jack Nicholson. God I loved that movie, and I also loved the book, but the movie really brought it to life for me.

Donnie Darko

Awesome movie! It was a bit of an underground movie so not too many people knew about it at first. The movie is about a teenage boy being plagued by visions of this creepy-looking rabbit. The rabbit tells him to commit several crimes and gets him in a good deal of trouble. As is, Donnie has a pretty confusing life already. Having a rabbit manipulate him into doing things really screws with him.

I'll be honest, this could be one of those movies that ends and you say, "Wait... What just happened?". It's not a psychological thriller or anything but it is a bit confusing. You may have to watch it a second time through to really understand what went on.

Not only is the movie great but the music in the movie is woooonderful! Mad World by Gary Jules immediately comes to mind. Fantastic song.

My favorite movie is hands down Interview With the Vampire. Great story line, great cast, I love that movie. Then it'd have to be the Cheech and Chong movies whenever I'm stoned and want a good laugh. I also like Scarface and Goodfellas though. But Interview With the Vampire is my favorite.
