FF7 Favorite villian?

Sephiroth would defiantly be my favorite. But with some i agree it will get to repetitive. I would like to see more with Genesis, for a villian he played the role well, kinda sarcastic, and stoic. Good choice for a villain.
 
erm the turks, but i would class them more like anti-heroes because they can see what they are doing is wrong but they know that they still have to do it. poor reno -_-;

other than that i would say jenova. only her presence brings fear into the hearts of citizens everywhere
 
Ehh it sounds kind of lame for me to pick Sephiroth, but what else am I supposed to do. I mean, Seph has been like my most favorite badass badguy in any game that I've ever played. And I really don't care much for Hojo the crazy scientist or Genova or anything else.

Without Sephiroth, none of these other Villians would even exist to do what they do. Sephiroth is the most badass Villian of all time in RPG history and will hold the title for many years. I have yet to see a FF game top Sephiroth.
 
Deff the Turks =D They were so... strange XD and just random. Loved their dialouge and I think they were funny in a way and it's always good to have funny strange random 'villians' in any game XD
 
Jenova
She's like monstrous and cruel and evil
Plus she look grotesque, which i find is a great look for a villain :P
 
Sephiroth is definitely my favourite of the Final Fantasy VII villians, and it was really cool to have in fighting on your side in battles during the story Cloud tells at Kalm.

Even though you can't control him, he fights perfect: He strikes a single foe with a ridiculously powerful slash from his Masamune sword, while he takes down larger groups of enemies with powerful magic cast on all enemies.

And of course, he is the final boss in the game, so he is really the main villian, it's all about stopping him in the end, after everything else that happens through the whole, long game, it comes down to finishing off Sephiroth.

And he is just a cool character, it was cool to see more of the sane him in Crisis Core, then eventually turning bad, as we all know he does in that Shinra Mansion.
 
Mine would be close between Sephiroth and the Turks, I mean, like somebody else said the Turks aren't really villains but since you have to fight them, I guess they come under that category. But they're great characters, and I actually like the way they know what they're doing isn't right but they still have to... I think that's especially depicted in Last Order, when Tseng tries to save Cloud and Zack.

Sephiroth, however, is just cool. He's definitely one of the best Final Fantasy villains. It was nice for him to be the very final boss (unlike IX, I mean, Necron was a little random...)
 
After playing DOC , my favorite has changed to Weiss now :awesome: He was really cool and was very powerful. He went through a lot in deepground and became a serious villain,
Even though he was being controlled by Hojo
He was kind of hot too *cough, cough*

And his final form fused with Omega was very powerful and was entertaining to battle.
 
i sound like a N00b but im gonna say Sephiroth.
Mainly because of his image, and the fact that he is a tad bit crazy.
I think they made the character design absoloutley spot on to tie into the story.
 
Rufus, Reno, Rude, the whole "turk" bunch really. There was a certain comedy about them whilst at the same time being kidnappers and brutes. They were never too difficult ot fight, though the last time you fight them did prove a bit of a challenge, and their on screen chemistry, amongst themselves and with your group, was great fun to watch.
 
Although I think old Sephiroth is the ultimate bad guy, I have to say my favorite is Hojo. The mastermind behind creating Sephiroth, and also a pretty heartless guy in general. I also think the Turks were super cool, and also loved fighting Rude and Reno.
 
I'm sorry but I'm goona have to go with Jenova and Sephiroth. Think about it Sephiroth dream was 2 run off with Jenova doesn't sound 2 bad huh. But how he planned out on how 2 do that was one of the most genius and devious plot schemes i've ever heard or seen. So Sepy and Jeno #1:D
