Alright guys, first of all thanks to those who participated. You guys did a great job! Here are the entries, including the ones from the GFX Tournament a few months ago. Please vote for the best banner - voting will end on February 22. Posting is not required but it is encouraged.

Aw, man, this is so hard. There's so many good ones >__<

In the end, I'm going with number 1. The simple but pretty design appealed to me, and it tried to incorporate images from a lot of FF games, which I appreciate

So number 1 for me, but good job to everyone who made the banners!
 
I definitely like the first entry the best. It's simple, and clean, though I feel that the text doesn't stand out enough against the background.

Entry #7 came in a close second.
 
I found it hard to decide between the first four. >.<

I eventually decided on 3 because though it's not as bright as the others, it actually drew my eye more and it's really pretty.

All the entries look awesome though. Wee done to all who entered I say!
 
Number three, I like the fact that it's darker than the others.

I also really like the text. It was a touch decision, but I like 3 the best:gasp:
 
Number seven, I really love the colours I think they go really well with the pictures. I also think it stands out from the rest. So seven ftw!
 
It was a real hard decision for me between 3 and 6.

However, I decided to go with #3. Considering I will have to see this banner every time I log on it needs to be easy on the eyes. Number 6 is just a little too bright and although it's very nice, I couldn't handle the brightness of it all the time. I still LOVE IT THOUGH!!!

Number 6 has a very mysterious and somewhat dark feel to it in my opinion. Great work to whoever made it!
 
i voted 4. I love the colours everything is well blended there are are plenty of ff characters to look at aswell. That the winner imo.
 
I find the detail VERY hard to see on 3, so I don't like it unfortunately. Number 1 is the best, it's nice, bright, and got a lot of good imagery in it.
 
Whaaat, no one's voting for the Chocobo? Banner number 2 gets my vote, because it's the awesome. :>
 
I really like 4 5 and 7, i like the colours, and its hight time we got summat a bit brighter round here xD

Actually, Id probably vote VI if it wasnt for the background colour...feh, I really like most of them >_>

Hmmm, Ive narrowed it down between 4 and 7...... I think Im gunna go with 4, altrhough the text is too small <_< Liek the rest of it though

I agree with Lisa on number 3, I cant even SEE it on my pc screen =/
 
I voted for number 1 because I liked the fact that it had different text and colors than our current banner. If we're going to change the banner, we should make a noticible change. :D
 
The awful picture of the Chocobo put me off choosing #3, though the general colour scheme would be ideal for a hopeful new site update. There are some amazing entries in there; in the end, I went for #4.
 
7 its light and colorful for a change :3 and some of the best artwork of the spin offs and games
 
What's wrong with the current banner? Shouldn't we vote about changing it?
Anyway, my vote is for No.3.
 
My vote is for #1. I like the way it looks, and it would be a nice change. It would be a nice change from the current one (Which to be honest I don't care for)
I also liked #9s "The unofficial community"

I voted for number one, I thought it was the most colorful and would be the most eye-catching banner to have and would appeal to a lot of people.

I have NO idea where you got THAT from O_O We don't even have the old banner saved, and I remember the maker of the old banner complaining that he wasn't being credited - something that was never fixed.

I believe what was said, is that members may have the ability to choose between the current banner or the winner of this contest - but it's not set in stone.
