Reader,

What Final Fantasy game have you NEVER played (not beating doesn't count as never played); never even tried it?

For me that would be: Final Fantasy VII & Final Fantasy 11/14.

WHY?

Never got around to FFVII, but I do own and plan on playing it someday.

FF 11/14 because I'm not much of an online guy.

The only ones ive played are part of the main series and their spin offs

those crystal chronical ones ive never even so much as looked at. Ive tried FFTA, and I disliedk that enough to know il never play tactics or WoTL

Yes, I also have not tried those ones, but I do have the first CC on the way. I did enjoy "My Life as a King" and I heard "My Life as a Dark Lord" is even better then "My Life as a King."
 
Never went near the two online ones. One, I've no interest in MMOs. Two, I refuse to pay monthly fees for something I won't even get into or have time to play. Three, my internet is awful. Four, FFXIV is just breathtakingly awful and after releasing that unfinished thing as it was, SE deserved the further bad rep.

Never touched the Crystal Chronicles games either, because none of them appeal to me, not even the Wii one, which has some of the clunkiest combat I have ever seen. Never touched Dirge of Cerberus either, because SE just can't make shooters that well, and because of a lack of interest again.

I do want to try out Tactics though. I could have gone for Tactics: WOTL, but I opted to buy Tactics Ogre instead.

FFXIII-2 will be another addition to this list. I don't even want to play the demo anymore. I never wanted a sequel to what was already my least favourite FF title, and though they have brought in improvements to the sequel, I'm still just as apathetic in terms of enthusiasm towards the game.
 
Final Fantasy XIV & XI because they're online games and they don't sound too interesting.

Also never played the Adventure games.
 
From the main series only XI and XIV... Other than that
Tactics advance II... and The Crystal Chronicles on the GC.
But other than that... I played them all.
 
The Online versions have never even been close to be played by me. Online gaming is something that just havent caught up to me yet, because....I don't really know why. Maybe because I have to buy the game AND pay for online connection or how ever that stuff works.
 
The online games and the Crystal Chronicles titles. I've also not gotten terribly far in Final Fantasy V, which is kiiiinda like not playing it, though to be fair I just don't like it that much.
 
I haven't played V because it hasn't been on a system I own, apart from the GBA, but I only heard about its release after the copies had been taken out of the shops, leaving second hand sellers who wanted to get a lot of money. -_-

I haven't played XI or XIV because I'm not interested in paying monthly fees to play a game I have already paid money for... I did buy XI, I think to play the trial, but didn't want to put my credit card details on their system. :lew:

I haven't played any of the Crystal Chronicles titles, apart from the original which I didn't really enjoy. :/ I haven't played most of the Tactics games, though I've started the original Tactics on the PSP.
 
The only ones I havent played are XI and XIV sinxe you have to pay a monthly fee to play them. I would play them if thet were thiugh, but for now I'll have to wait until I get some money before I will play either of them.
 
I never played FFV or FFVI, never had a chance to own a copy, but they are going dirt cheap right now on psn soo I might hit the psn store at some point and buy a few of them :D

never played tactics never really intrested me cuz i normally fail at games like that, but I picked it up a few weeks ago on psp because it was going for a fiver in game's sale :P i played it a bit but i just plain fail at it

Never really played VII, or XII either, I started them but got bored of them, 7 i got lost XD, and XII i hated the battle system :(
 
Final Fantasy II.

I have the game, just never got around to popping it in and playing it. I bought it with FFI as a compilation for PS1 in the Originas package, but was going to wait until I beat FFI before I tried II.

Sooo, to keep a long story short, I never got around to finishing FFI, so I never started up FFII.

FFXI.

Not into the whole online monthly pay for an RPG game, so I never have and never will play this one either.
 
5 and 6 because I just haven't found them before and I don't think there are any remakes of them.

11 and 14 because I don't agree with paying for a game and then paying even more money to keep playing that game (although I understand people's reasoning behind with with all the constant updates and patches and new content for the most part)

dissidia - I don't really like the idea of FF as a fighting game but it would be cool to do some what if's battles (such as the classic Squall vs Cloud battle) although every's idea's of characters are different, like I would say Squall could take on Cloud but I know many people wouldn't agree with me, I would play it if it was in the bargain bin though.

crystal chronicles - Never actually seen this but as it has the FF in the title I would be willing to give it a go.

Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII - Again haven't seen it but would give it a go if I saw it on the cheap

Everything before FFVII. I really want to play, I've been trying to find any of them for so long, but no luck. The ones online, I think I'll never play. I'm just not a fan of MMORPG in general. :hmmm: Oh, I've played Chocobo Dungeon, but I'm not sure if that counts as Final Fantasy.

I also haven't played Dirge of Cerberus. I think this is unpopular opinion, but I never really liked Vincent Valentine enough to want to play it. D:
 
The only titles I haven't played *in depth* are the two MMOs XI and XIV. It's because I don't really like those types of games. :( Although I do own them!
 
I've never played FFIII, FFV or FFXIV

I played about 10 minutes of FFI and II on my iphone but they were so old looking and boring that I quit. Though I guess technically I have played them so I can't add them to the list above :(

Oh guuuurl FFTA/A2 and FFT have different gameplay(and FFT has a much better story). Unless you're judging by your taste in graphics which I understand. :P

I haven't played FF5 but I'm really interested. I also haven't played all of FF4 which I hear is quite fantastic!(I only borrowed the game for like a day :/) Maybe one day I shall get them both! I also never played FF11/12 and I tried one of the crystal chronicles series but it's not my taste at all. >.< I really have no desire to play 11 or 12 though since I looked them both up and found myself disinterested in both. Other than those I think I've played them all. I really like the old old FFs though. Like I rarely meet people who love FF2 as much as I do! I personally think the story rocked.
 
I have never played II, III, V (although truthfully, I started a game, I don't think playing for 5 minutes counts...), Dirge of Cerebus, the PSP FFVII prequel thingy, X-2, Crystal Chronicles, XIII-2, FF Tactics Advanced. I'll probably play the first three I mentioned, but I doubt I will play any of the others.
 
That new Cyrstal Chronicles game for the Wii was it? I never played that since I didn't think much of the Gamecube version.

Even though I own it I never really played FFXIV but thats because at the time my computer couldn't run it, I eventually did buy a new PC that can play anything at max settings but didn't bother with it after all the negative reviews.
