FFVII International Edition (Jap PS1 game)

So I bought this game from a friend and I noticed that there isn't artwork on the back of the game as such, but there's artwork that sits outside the game and wraps around the back and around the front slightly. Is this normal? Here's a picture to help describe the issue:

There's artwork on the back of disks now? As far as I know, I've not seena disk with artwork on the back...

also, i've never seen this version. where did you get it from? it looks a little-bootleg-ish, if you know what i mean

It's the japanese version, apparantly, makes sense to be different. Also, he said "back of the game" so it was a simple mistake

I can assure you it's a legit version. I never thought otherwise, I was just curious how Japanese games have their artwork on the back of the case rather than inside the back of the case like US/UK games.
