Nanaki

leaving the seventh heaven inn he walks back to the little camp he made in the train graveyard after an eventful day, (first a fight wit hsephiroth and then burning down a laboritory... i just hope i got rid of all the hair, but were did they get it from? i dobt that sephiroth gave it to them happily. and if they took it how did they get it off of him.) nanaki lay down to go to sleep.
"not my problem."

Since Cid had left explaining the situation to Vincent, he gave a sigh. He never figured out why he ended up doing the explaining, but seeing how he had no choice yet again...

Vincent looked back at Rufus, trying to keep as few tones in his voice as he could. "Sephiroth has returned and headed off. Reno said something about Midgar, so we're heading there first. Unless you want to walk and swim all the way there, you might as well hitch a ride with us."

And so, Vincent turned and strode towards the Bronco with his cape billowing behind him. If Rufus felt the need to linger behind in the rubble alone, that's fine with him. If anything, Vince was loathing the idea of the young president tagging along with them. His incessant jabbering was annoying enough as it is. Imagine trying to put up with him during a flight where you're strapped in and have no place to walk away from him.

Once Vincent caught up with Cid, he looked up at the old pilot and asked, "Didn't you have an airship, too? What happened to that?"

Cid:"Well, technically I still have the airship. It's at the base of the Nimbelheim mountains. Problem is, I don't have a crew any more. We all had a disagreement haha....ha"

Unfortunately, Cid wasn't the most tolerable person in the world. This was reflected in his lack of crew and friends in genereal! The airship would definately be more practical and could accomodate them all, it was just gathering the crew that posed the problem.

Cid stroked his chin in a pensive manner. Contemplating if the famous airship could be managed by just the three of them. It would be tough to say the least.

Cid:(If only Cloud, Reno and Red hadn't gone! Selfish, good for nothing....)

Cid's thought's were interupted by the attention seeking cough of Rufus. He seemed to be growing impatient even though it was his decision whether he joined Vincent and Cid at all.
There was always the alternative option. One that Cid didn't care for and was extremely reluctant to share. On the airship was a state of the art auto-pilot system; one that required no man power other than to set the destination.

Cid::"Guys, I have a confession. They may be a way to use the airship. You see, it has a great auto-pilot; would take us right to Midgar in no time."

Vincent and Rufus looked at Cid coldly, managing to surpress whatever rage they were feeling. There was no point in arguing now, and maybe they knew that.

Cid:"I had my reasons god dammit! I didn't wanna loose the feeling of being a pilot; there's nothing like it!"

It was clear what they were both thinking, "stupid old fool." Maybe they were right. Maybe the old pilot had lost his mind completely.

::Fighting every fiber in his body, Rufus stifles his rage and simply points to the one clear path out of Nibelheim.::

Rufus: "Well then, Mr. Pilot! Lead us to the airship, if you please!"

::Though he addressed the aging man as a "pilot" the words were spat with such vehemence that it was clear to all around that they were far from a token of respect. As he waits he does little to hide the expression of pure anger flooding across his usually smirking face.::

Rufus: "!!!"

Rufus: "..."

Rufus: "!!!"

::As the seconds slowly turn to minutes, Rufus finally begins to calm down. He drops hand and crosses his arms across his chest. Looking away from the small group he stares towards the setting sun. As he speaks he kicks mindlessly at the rubble piled at his feet.::

Rufus: "But... would it be possible for you to pilot the airship with the Goth reject over there and I as your crew?"

::He turns to look Cid dead in the eyes. The expression on his face speaks volumes about the young presidents thoughts.::

Rufus: "I don't want you to get the wrong impression, I could care less about your need to 'feel like a pilot', I simply think that having an actual pilot would be the wiser course of action."

::Though he says one thing, he thinks another. Behind the tough shell of the president, some small part of Rufus actually wanted to help Cid accomplish his agenda.::

Rufus: "It's more than likely that we'll encounter resistance in the air, and no matter how good your third rate airships autopilot may be, it simply won't be enough to keep us alive."

Rufus: "So are we enough or do we have to gather a larger crew?"

RENO:

Reno stepped inside the Shinra building there was no sign of Sephiroth...but as soon as he came in a couple of shinra soldiers caught up with him...

Shinra Soldier 1:"Sir...ummm Reno both Cloud and that crazy dog came in here running around like two lunatics atacked some of our staff and then ranned away...:S"

Reno was not really surprised....

Reno:"Well i guess this building gives them bad memories...send a letter to the family of the scientist Nanaki killed and once we take care of the Sephiroth issue then i will personally go and talk to him! Now any signs of Sephiroth?"

Shinra Soldier 2:"Some people spotted him near the church between sector 6 and 7...he also killed a few of our guys in sector 6 and blowed a few buildings but everything is calm now."

Reno quickly deducted Sephiroth was just trying to call attention upon himself because he had no idea where Jenovas head was thanks to his own careful planning.

Reno:"(Man i sure am the best Turk around this parts!)"

Cid laughed off Rufus' comments about his supposed 'third rate airship' and tapped him on the shoulder in a very, very patronising manor.

Cid: "Rufus, good buddy! If we stay low and approach Midgar from over the mountains, we won't appear on their radar. I guess there are certain things you don't learn from being 'president'."

They were lucky to have a clear path out of Nimbeliheim, to say the least. More importantly, they were lucky to be alive.
Cid rolled up his sleeve and nodded at his watch. 6:45pm. Perfect. Whether Rufus appreciated the skill it took to be a pilot or not, it made little difference to Cid. He knew what it would take to get them to Midgar safely, with minimal conflict.

Cid: "Listen here. We're nearing nightfall, and it's gonna take us about an hour to get to Midgar. By the time we're close, it'll be too dark to be visible. So, Rufus. You can sit back, relax and figure out just what you're on this planet to do! Because for the life of me, I can't figure it out!"

Rufus' expression on his face was priceless. Usually Cid didn't respond to his morale destroying speeches with any malice whatsoever. The 'old man' was tired of it.

Cid: "Anyway, we need to get going. If you wanna come along, then follow me. If not, who cares."

A lighthearted chuckle came out of the so-called 'goth reject'. This was certainly unheard of. First Sephiroth returns, and now Vincent is laughing at such a joke? Is the Planet coming to an end?

In any case, Vincent gave an affirmative nod to Cid and followed the 'old man'. He couldn't care less if Rufus was left behind. With a matter that involved Sephiroth, Vincent had to be involved in some matter.

"...so what are you going to do with the Bronco? Just leave it here?"

upon leaving the shinra building cloud started searching for sephiroth and spotted marks on a wall indicating sephiroth had been here so cloud started following the marks

running through a dark street being chased by what seemed like a small army of shinra soldiers he noticed a small boy sat in the street (he will be killed) he threw the boy on his back and continued running the street was blocked by sephiroth "WHAT THE !!!!!!!!" (i cant beat the soldiers and Sephiroth) " this is your lucky day sephiroth" he ran down a back street but it was a dead end "F*** dead end"
he turned around seeing that the only way out was blocked by a small army of shinra goons and Sephiroth
Nanaki:"sorry kid this is the end of the line"
Young boy:"its ok Nanaki i will get to join my father, but who would have thought that you would have a part in both our deaths"
Nanaki:"What!?!"
Young boy:"my father was the lab worker you slaughtered"

Nanaki wakeing up in the train graveyard:"NO!!!!!!!!!!" he looks around frantically "it was just a nightmare but did he actually have a son or is it just my guilt playing tricks on me"

((I am Sephiroth by the way and sorry but could someone tell AG that I can't do anything if Aeris doesn't wake up?! I've been waiting next to Aeris' body for ages and I am about to kill her and leave -_-))

Sephiroth is still standing there, after ages of waiting for Aeris to wake up. Now he is wondering if he should either: a) kill her, b) leave , c)kill her and leave.

OoC - Sorry everyone, ive had a shitload of RL problems lately which is why i havent been posting as much  im getting there though :P

IC.

Aerith

Aerith woke up feeling groggy from her sudden unconcious period.

"What...Was that?" she wondered rubbing her eyes. She knew something was strange before she saw him.

He was here. in her church. Sephiroth.

Aerith panicked and stood to her feet, she searched in vain for her battlestaff but it was nowhere to be found. Panicking silently she stood up and walked backwards slowly, readying a fire spell in her hands she looked at Sephiroth directly in the eyes,

"stay back..im warning you, Dont make me have to hurt you" She challenged, trying to keep the fear out of her voice by gathering all the courage she had.

Ooc - im a bit of a terrible RPer :/

Sephiroth backed off silently, with his eyes fixed on Aeris's. He was confused, something within him wanted to come out and scream while the other just wanted to satisfy his own desire for death and the blood of innocents. He was a monster, sick and twisted by revenge since he couldn't forgive his own father, if we can call someone like Hojo a "father", to experiment with him.

Sephiroth suddenly stopped, still staring at Aeris and did not felt intimidated by her threats.

"You are warning me? I must....kill.....must avenge mother...must destroy..."

Sephiroth then placed his hands on his head and started to scream in agony, moving from left to right as if he were losing control. He fell on his knees, with his face on the ground screaming more and more.

"I can't...kill...but I must.....mother....why?....humans....they must die...all of them must be purified..."

Aerith looked at Sephiroth with confusion, and distinguished her fireball, she could escape now and warn the others...or agains't her better instincts she could try to comfort the clearly distressed warrior.

"Mother..." Aerith murmured "jenova..."

She gasped, "The calamity from the skys!"

She knew she could help Sephiroth now, as a Cetra she was the only one who could, with her healing powers she could purge Jenova from Sephiroths mind....if only for a short time...for Sephiroth had been infected far too long to fully cure him,

taking a deep breath Aerith grabbed hold of one of Sephiroths hands and held his cheek

"Look at me Sephiroth, i can help you, you just have to let me"

Sephiroth's eyes showed both fear and confusion, for he was just another lab rat of Hojo's twisted experiments. He was lost, searching for his light, for the chance to lead a happy life though sadly those joys of life were denied to him on the day Hojo's injected the J-cells in his bloodstream. Still holding his face with his right hand, Sephiroth turned his face to the ground trying to recover control over his actions.

"Save me? No one can....I am doomed, I am cursed....I am a cancer...I will end up destroying everything whether I like it or not....but....if you say you can ease my pain....do it...argh..."

Sephiroth placed his left hand on his chest, close to his heart, his heart beats could be heard echoing through the hall. He was shivering, trembling with fear for he knew that he was not meant to exist, that he was a monster and that monsters don't deserver to live happily.

"Please...forgive me if I cause you any harm later..I don't mean to hurt you....I just...can't control....anger....must....kill....NO...I can't....please save me somebody....I can't take this anymore..."

Aerith felt empathy for Sephiroths pain, and knew first hand what an evil monster Hojo was, he'd been one of the scientists who'd captured her mother and herself, and killed her father....

Remembering her mother and father made Aerith sadden, and she nearly started to cry, but she knew she had to be strong to save this man in front of her.

Placing her hand on his chest Aerith began to will the planet to heal him, watching in amazment as Green sparks began to spread around sephiroths body as she removed her hand.

"Sephiroth...you may suffer unconsciousness or amnesia when this procedure is over...but don't worry...ill be here to protect you and guide you to the light"

cloud approached the church and saw sephiroth collapsed on the floor and called the aeris before he awoke.

aeris! come over here! quickly!

seeing her remain motionless cloud sheathed his sword and approached aeris, knowing she would probably hate him for this he grabbed aeris and walked from the church still holding her

Nanaki
wakeing up from a long slumber he starts sniffing the air
" i smell steak"
He jumps up and runs into the village and into a pub
"hey are you serving steak"
Man at the bar:"no, sorry, dog thing"
Nanaki:" okay, thanks anyway"

he ran out of the pub and looked around (were is it) he took a sniff in the air and ran down the street into a hotel looked around and saw a person eating steak "YES!!!" he exclaimed
