FFX - Belgemine

Right, I'm replaying FFX on my 3rd save file. My second save file sucked because I lost to Belgemine the first time, and couldn't get the thing that gives my Aeons the ability to learn new abilities.

Now, I'm on the Mi'hen Highroad, and have gotten to the scene where

Seymour lets you pass through the gate.

Have I ballsed this up? Now, Belgemine isn't in her first spot!

Does that mean I can't get the thing that gives Aeons their abilities? If so, I'm gonna scream. That's the whole reason I started a new save file!

You can get the Summoner's Soul (and the Aeon's Soul) later on by reaching Remiem Temple, if you missed them earlier in the game. So you've not missed them for good. Besides, I only tend to make use of it later when I have the items to learn certain abilities, so you don't really need it early

OK ... I'm both happy and annoyed. W00t, I can still get them, and it'll make the game more of a challenge, which is what I was looking for, but at the same time, it means I wasted 17 hours of a save file by starting this one
