FFX | Help with the Cactaur Quest

Hi!

I'm currently doing the Cactaur Village quest, and I'm at Elio.

Elio is the Cactaur that's on the airship's deck, where you fight Evere and Sin.

Now my problem is that I've gone up to the deck and then was dragged to the fight with Sin's fins, and with that tumer thing he has on him.

After the three fights I found myself back on the airship, and now whenever I re-board the deck, I can't find the Cactuar mentioned.

What do I do? Why is that?

P.S -- I tried going back to the tombstone in the desert and re-talking to it.
It doesn't help as well.

Try going to the tombstone again and it will probably tell you about Elio, then make your way to the Airship again, I never seen anything like that, but I hope it works.

I tried that just before I posted this thread. It's really weird, right?

I'm kinda clueless..

What does the Tombstone says? says that Elio was on an adventure or something like that?

Try going Inside Sin and complete some events like the next boss fight against

, that might trigger the Cactuar to appear again on the Airship.

I never heard of that happening to anyone, otherwise I could have helped you.

fine I'll try that, but are you sure that fighting Seymor wont automatically send me off into battles?

Because I don't want to end the game just yet.

You can still leave Sin after fighting Seymour, you can wander quite far in without having to worry about not being able to return. As for the Cactuar though, I can't help you because I never had a problem with him appearing D:
