FFX Music

I don't recall there being much FFX music arranged for orchestra which is a shame. I did get to see the Distant Worlds concert in Chicago a few years ago and heard this arrangement of Suteki Da Ne:

I don't much care for the English translation but I love the orchestration. Especially the counter melody that the brass have during the chorus around 4:15. It is something I've only ever heard in the recent recordings. I don't really hear it on the original OST.

Nice, I'll give it a listen. I also compose music. Mostly original stuff but I've thought about doing some FF arrangements or tributes some time.

It might be worth mentioning I've just done a tribute album to FFX. You can listen/download it here - http://soundcloud.com/thestormof87/sets/10-years-of-the-calm-a-tribute/

You sir, are amazing. You did a fantastic job with it.

Anytime I hear 'Besaid Island' I smile though because it reminds me so much of my childhood and how happy I felt playing it with the beach feeling you get. :)

Thank you for sharing this!

I've never heard it before. Some FFX fan I am :sad3:

I never really visited the Luca Sphere Theatre. Which is probably why I never realized there were unreleased songs. I found Illusion through the Nostalgia youtube clip. It was in suggested videos. But I didn't see Wakka's theme. So thanks for sharing that!
