FFXII Finally Dated for October 31st in US

After months and months of anticipation after the Japanese release of Final Fantasy XII, American gamers finally have a final, solid date to look forward to--October 31st, 2006.

In addition to the regular version of the game, Square Enix plans to release a Collector's Edition. This edition will come with special packaging, interviews with the game's creators, promotional trailers, an art gallery, and a special featurette on the entire Final Fantasy series. The Collector's Edition will be available exclusively in GameStop and Electronic's Boutique stores.

It cant be double !!
I heard somewhere (I think on Gamespot) that it will be like $10 extra..... but I could always be wrong
 
Oh, I can't wait! I myself am a big fan of final fantasy XII, and I can't wait to have it in my hands to play.
 
I didn't even realise that it had already been released in Japan.. o_o;

I guess I've been too busy with Xbox 360 stuff to really notice anything new on the PS2, it completely sneaked past me! That is definately one game I'll have to get, although I can almost guarantee that it won't get a UK release date until 2007 sometime.
 
Yea the price for the special edition shouldnt be more than $30 then the regular. I myself am looking forward to this too, i havent gotten a new FF game in a while so this will definitly be cool and see how much things have improved. And Oct 31st?.....thats a bad omen methinks...

$10 difference i think i checked it out online and there is a ten dollar difference.
And i am so excited i heard so much about this game :D
 
What's the point in having a European establishment? I'm surprised it hasn't gone bust, considering its lack of .... what's the word? ... time-keeping? In any case, this is pissing me off, excuse the Italian.
