The only ones you can "miss" are the ones not story base.

To find the rest, go explore. When you enter an area and the map goes crazy and you cant see your location on the map.... your near one. So go kill it.

So That's How It Is... I Was At The Westersands Map When This Map~Goes~Awry Thing Happen. Thought My PS2 Was Screwed.

lol naw defently not your PS2 When you enter an area like that, just be careful. The monsters in such areas are STRONG as hell

I just encountered my first area like that, and got one of the optional espers . The map thing freaked me out at first lol
