My Party Is Fang, Light, Hope b4 i get on to eden i maxed the three main roles of each. But im not yet satisfied. The monsters on eden are hitting me 1.5k damage. On my first step on Orphans cradle my Hp is Fang: 6.3k Light:6.5k Hope:6.2k. My Weapons: Calamity Spear Lvl22 Lionheart Lvl20 Skycutter Lvl20. Min Damage:10k(stagered) max 45k (stagered). Now I'm on the point where fal'cie eden opened up 2 warp gates for me.

Here are my goals:
Max my weapon to 2nd tier
Have Diamond/Platinum Bangles on each party member 3 each
Max Fang's Ravager and Medic
Max Hope's Commando

That's sufficient upgrading and HP IMO. The monsters in the place are really hard. You are not under leveled.

Buy some cherub crowns. You may need to equip these on Lightning on the second final boss battle. The 2nd form of the boss uses instant death, sometimes on party leaders. It can get pretty frustrating, so it's best to equip 1-2 upgraded cherub crowns on the party leader which resist death.

Otherwise, I don't think there are that many things to prepare. The final boss is one of the easier final bosses in the FF series.

On some guides...they say cherubs resists death... is that the Death(Sab attack) or instant death where the enemy 1 hit Ko you... I guess it leaves atleast 1 HP when hited by 1 one hit Ko attack... but something about Orphan confuses me... can you explain the "shaded part" they said? is that a form or attack or something...

Cherub's Crown resists Death as in the Saboteur skill, but only bosses do it from recollection (besides Vanille). Before you waste all your money on them there's one you can find in the Narthex. The Reprieve ability for a Sentinel might be what you're thinking Newbie, this lets you survive an attack with 1HP if your HP is above a certain threshold, this doesn't guard against Death though.

The bosses most people have a problem with is the second one of the final set, the first plays out just like the last time (trying to avoid too many spoilers) but the second is where most people have trouble.

The second boss of the three is the most difficult though, I agree. It was inflict statuses like Pain and Fog which are a great nuisance, as well as Death which is an instant Game Over should it succeed on your leader though this has never happened to me personally.

Most people tend to not realise this but the second boss actually has a major weakness to Poison, as long as you keep Poison up you can keep on the defensive more.

The light and dark aspect of the battle is the fact that the boss has two phases it switches between at certain points, Consummate Light and Consummate Darkness. The main worry is the attack Merciless Judgement which it does during each switch as it deals massive percentage based damage (it's also the very first move it does).

As I've said though, if you have Poison up at all times you can definitely stay on the defensive more. Just be aware that the more HP it loses the more unpredictable and deadly it gets. The (final) boss after the one I've been mentioning is an extreme pushover compared and you shouldn't have any problems.

Thanks for explaining them to me... hehe... so everytime orphan(2nd boss) switches to Consummate Darkness you said he always do Merciless Judgement as a first attack so every time he switches to that form i should switch paradigms to SEN/SEN/SEN or SEN/MED/MED. But here is the question... should i just get Light's and Hope's provoke and guard skills on their SEN roles? or should I max their SEN roles?

Honestly, maxing the SEN roles for the two of them is not worth it for this battle. I didn't have these two at all and I managed to survive easily.
SEN/MED/MED is, I believe, better SEN/SEN/SEN, because you need some immediate major healing before he inflicts some more damage. Furthermore, merciless judgement hits by percentage. A sentinel takes the same damage regardless what role/protections he/she has.

Oh Okay... thanks for another helpfull info

Now i got all my weapons exept ultima weapon to tier 2 after repairing Bhakti and recieving his goodies.
Im now trying my best on defeating Neochu of Mission 55
All guides on the net is only for those who have stage 10 crystalium q.q

Any help please?

As Cid Raines said, SEN/SEN/MED is better as you'll need immediate healing and it's percentage based anyway so another Sentinel won't make too much of a difference.

As for Neochu, your best hope is to go in with Vanille as your leader with a Malboro Wand (Tier 2 Belladonna Wand) and just spam Death until it works, use shrouds as well since the little Ochus are pretty difficult to kill on their own, start the battle, debuff the Neochu and then start spamming Death, SAB/SEN/MED might work well with Vanille/Snow/Hope. Just make sure you create semi-offensive paradigms for the case when Death does connect or you'll have to rely on Death's damage for the rest of the battle.

The special property about Neochu is that you can't have a pre emptive strike even if you use a Deceptisol (though you can in the Japanese version), otherwise it'd be much more bearable. The main problem with this is the absurdly low base percentage of Death actually working, but it's going to be incredibly difficult (if not impossible) to beat Neochu with your characters the normal way as it can still be quite the chore for post game characters.

If you use the above party I'd recommend always having Snow as a Sentinel and Hope as a Medic, your health can decrease at an incredibly rapid rate when fighting those guys and it'd be a shame to lose the battle after the hardest part is over.

My recommendation is if you really want to gain faster CP, have patience and get the Growth Egg. Once you get it the final area before the last bosses has the best CP gains per battle in the game for normal battles. The catch is that you can't return post game. You get about 30-32,000CP per battle and 60-64,000 if you have the Growth Egg, so it's definitely worth the effort.

If you really don't think it's worth the effort then 30k per fight is still pretty impressive.

idk if you beat this already but i might as well post

best team to use is Light, Sahz (or Hope), and Vanille (or Fang
since she has SEN)

SYN and SAB will play a big role in this fight... you need to bring up you defenses and you need to poison him... just make sure he doesnt one hit KO you... plus Vanille's death move can one-hit KO the 3rd form... or if you use Fang then SEN MED MED will help a lot... i had help with this too and if i could remember the paradigms i would give them to you

I already beat them...

For barthandelus...
Fang/Light/Hope
SAB/RAV/RAV
slow...slow...slow...deprotect...deportect...deshelll...deshelll etc.etc.
When near stagger point
COM/RAV/RAV
fang beats the lights out of Bathandelus while Light and hope keeps increasing stagger point to 999%
COM/RAV/MED
when needs a lil healing
then HIGHWIND...

Destroyed barthandelus in 3 Mins...

Then Orphan...
game start...
retry...
open menu switch first paradigm to SEN/MED/MED
Merciless Judgement
didnt took too long for recovery...(Curasa rocks)
SAB/RAV/RAV
slow...slow...slow...deprotect...deportect...deshelll...deshelll etc.etc.
When near stagger point
COM/RAV/RAV
fang beats the lights out of ORPHAN while Light and hope keeps increasing stagger point to 999%
Another merciless judgement
SEN/MED/MED
then COM/RAV/RAV
Stagger point to 999%
Highwind...
-Cycle is repeated-
Smashed Orphan in 5 and a half minutes

Then orphan 2...
same cycle...
Beat it for 2 and a half minutes...

Having COM/RAV/RAV is better than COM/COM/RAV... its faster to build up stagger point to 999 where your characters hit 75k~99k

very true... COM/COM/RAV is more for when your enemies are staggered cause it does more damage but to stagger COM/RAV/RAV is best
