Help FFXIII: I did not find Lionheart!

I think I have checked and crosschecked every treasure...ball in chapter 12, and I did not find Lionheart for Lightning.

Was it not supposed to be in chapter 12? I just got to 13, and I thought, screw it, so I just upgraded the axis blade instead.

I´ve spent 60 hours saving up useless items now, and if I cant make good use of them now, I might as well use them for something. So I put a hundred thousand fangs and conductors in the axis blade. From 60 hours of playing, and after all that, it still didnt turn out any better than my lvl3 Gladius, which I made in the beginning of the game.

Can I give up on making an omega weapon now? Or can I do it with the axis blade? I have 500 000 gil, is that enough?
 
i have it available in a store too buy 0.0 but if i remember correctly, the first time i ran into it was right when you first return to cacoon, and your in the rafters, theres a ... ball... right there
 
I don't remember getting Lionheart Myself.

I ended up upgrading the Hauteclaire to a tier 2 weapon, which is Lionheart, with the Quick Stagger ability.
 
They all look the same anyway. Remember how different those swords of Cloud were in FF7?

All these gunblades look exactly the same! Theres just one line of color that changes. Almost like they´re applying a mere paintjob one each weapon.
 
whats special about lionheart anyway? i have it available but ive stuck with her flamburge i made from the original weapon she starts with, nice and balanced
 
Found Lionheart pretty easily, almost completely by accident. I check everywhere though before leaving an area.

It's pretty close to the start of the chapter, when you're walking on those beams (before the cutscene where they all jump off using those device thingies)
 
I look everywhere too, did not find it.
Anyway, I finished the game yesterday. Now its going on the shelf for good. Piece of crap game anyways.
