FFXIII: Least Favorite Characters

One positive (ish?) thing I have to say. Some scenes with him make me smile. Namely were lightning hits him.

He thinks he's a big manly hero type and yet gets his ass handed to him by woman alla time. This makes me happy.

And for the record, I don;t think he's hot at all really. Probably because of the lack of vagina but whatevs. o_O
 
I hate snow sooo much!!!
hes always like, "oh, im a hero, i killed a boys mom, i cant take care of my fiance" Hes so stupid plus with his costant screaming SERAH!!!! makes him 100% more annoying.
Plus he decided to stay at the lake and let his freinds go alone?
Some hero.
I hope he dies at some point in the game.
 
Gotta go with Hope right now. It's not that I don't like him, it's just that I'm really ready to push him off a cliff next time no one's watching.

I understand that his mom died, he's mad, he's young and all, but for God's sake he's gotta stand up for himself and speak what's on his mind when he wants to confront someone. He's so scared to tell Snow who he is, that it's kinda pathetic.
 
i dont like snow. he's annoying and he's all talk. good thing lightning punches him all the time! :D

I haven't played too far into the game, however I would have to say the fact that Hope doesn't speak up for himself, and seems whiny, really bothers me. But honestly Hope isn't horrible. I'm not the biggest fan of Sazh though. Sazh is there for a bit of comic relief, I understand, and I don't so much mind that, as I mind the fact that he doesn't seem to really want to follow along, but continues to. Like when he tried to hold back Lightning. He gets bothered by her persistent want to save her sister. It really shouldn't be that way, and it bothers me that he tries to hold her back from her goal. from what I can see, if he didn't want to follow along, then he didn't have to.
Anyway, like I said, I haven't played the game very far, but that's my opinion so far. I hope later on the game get's a little more freedom than what it has at this point. If the game continues to be this linear throughout the rest of the game, then it could potentially be lame. From what I can see, it opens up a little more, so I am looking forward to it.
 
My least favorite is probably Vanille. she is overhappy all the time and her accent is annoying.

Sazh botherd me in the beginning of the game but after telling what happened to his son. i fell really bad for him.
 
I really did used to love jihl.
She was beautiful,kind,sweet,and seemed like a social worker
But boy did i learn to never judge a book by its cover.
Is that a spoiler?
I also didint like hope's dad because he was ugly.
 
Meh least favorite characters eh? I guess Im going to have to say Snow Villiers. Not exactly my least favorite character in XIII but he is somewhere in there. He is cool but I HATE his personality. But he does have his ways after and he gets better. Captain Rygdea because he is just a psicom troop without a helmet xD He did not have a major role in the game anyway. I thought he was gonna assist Cid and you would have to
fight both of them but that did not happen
Meh Cid Raines was cool at first but I really started disliking him when the game went forward. Galenth Dysley was a super sick bad guy but I hated him when he
demolished Jihl Nabaat
. He has a pretty awesome voice but still I hate this guy xD. He never ceases to give up -_-
 
Vanille. She's too perky and annoying, not to mention her accent is inconsistent in the English version.
 
I think Hope is my least favorite. He was being so dumb for the first part of the game because of his mothers death. It was not Snow's fault that she died.
 
Im not a fan of Snow for some reason he just irks the hell outta me ....its probably his goody two shoesness or the way he comes accross as a lumbering ofe its possibley his stupid face! and the portrayal of his emotions makes him seem like a whiney kid

Sahz I like he seems the most real outa all of them

Fang is my fave I love her look and she also seems to have the most realistic feelings besides sahz

Hope, Lightning and Vanille im fairly ambliviant about they neither irk or inspire any ill will from me but they all seem rather flat emotional wise

But I like Lightning but only because she's a tough female protagonist and she slaps around the characters I don't like. What bothers me about her is how very "Cloud" she appears to be, sure they were going for that in the first place but they could've been more subtle about it. And I don't like her when she starts caring for the characters I don't like =p

Hope and Vanille are just too painful. First of all what's with the voice acting? Hope sounds older than he is and Vanille sounds like a castrated preteen Welsh boy who thinks he's Australian.

Honestly I think the creators just gave up making "orriginal" charecters....thats what I thought.

As far as Hope goes....Its a conundrum for me....Mabey it would have worked if they made him 8 or 9? that would have been more reasonable. I just cant see anyone his age acting that way unless they are royalty and super pampered even in a game.

As for Vanille I think its a culture thing. In japan girls have more horrendiously high pitched voices and the hyper perky girl types are more so I think thats why she is the way she is and thats why I find her tolerable voice wise...but thats my hope for her anyways....
 
I like all the characters in this game except for Hope he almost ruined the game for be with his constant grudge against snow.I haven't played through the whole game yet but I hope it doesnt get any worse than it already is and I actually thought vivi was the worse character.

My least favourite character was Hope. The amount of whining just annoyed me, i'm not a fan of the over-emotional teen thing.
 
Hmmm, not all that big a fan of Snow. I don't hate the guy, he's okay, but I'm just tired of hearing his damn 'hero' slogans all the time. It's irritating. Plus, I think he mentions Serah a bit too much. I get that he loves her and wants to save her and all that, but he emphasizes it so many times that I get just as pissed off as Lightning.
 
Vanilles continues whiney pants whenever there was something that suprised the party or they get into trouble or she sees something pretty >O like flowers or a chocobo. It rose above all the other characters with its high pitchiness. Other then that I like them all. Lightning and Fang where my favs.
 
Well I used to dislike Hope all his emo-ness then I started to like when he became brave and had some balls then he turned all cheesy and now I dislike him agian. lol

I actually liked Snow but calling out Serah that much annoyed me, he reminded me of Nero from DMC4 who constantly screamed Kyrie's name.

I really disliked Vanille, her voice was so annoying and that made her fake >.<
