I am using Lightning Sazh and Vannile. Lightning has about 3120 HP while the others have about 2600. I keep getting killed by his firestorm attack even after casting buffs. Light is lvl 4 commando lvl 2 medic and ravager.
I used Lightning,Fang and Hope
I had one buff(hope I think) while another debuffed (fang)and had lightning as the med After that I theink I had them set up as Lightning Rav,Hope med and Fang com I think my levels where average though not sure what my accesories where.
I realy didnt play as vanille sahz or snow realy soo I cant realy assist with them...
Well, first things first, I used Light, Hope, and Fang.
I used this Paradigms -
Lightning:
RAV - Shift 1
COM - Shift 2
MED - Shift 3
Hope:
RAV - Shift 1
MED - Shift 2
SYN - Shift 3
Fang:
RAV - Shift 1
COM - Shift 2
SEN - Shift 3
--- When you fight him, first make sure that all 3 members are on the Shift 3 Paradigm.
When the battle starts, use Fang as a Sentinel to draw in his attacks, while Hope buffs up your characters, and Lightning does periodic healing.
---
Now, when Hope has done all of the possible buffs he can do, switch to Paradigm 1, so you can get most of his Stagger Bar up. If you get severely hurt, switch back to Paradigm 2 and heal yourself.
When he's staggered, switch to Paradigm 2, so you deal optimum damage as Light and Fang as commandos, and Hope as Medic.
If that helps, that's all the tactics you need to beat him.
, And if as an extra, if you take massive damage, have an extra MED/MED/MED paradigm in case you do, so you party will start to heal each other instantly.
And as another bonus paradigm, have a RAV/RAV/SEN, so Fang can draw his attacks while Light and Hope get his stagger up.
Have someone debuff while the rest of you build the stagger meter. When he's staggered, DO NOT HEAL. Pound away. Once stagger is over switch to a paradigm with 2 meds and 1 sen or 2 meds and 1 buffer. Repeat. This, IMO, is a warmup before your next battle with a major person whom the reason many people die is because they spend too much time healing/being defensive.
I found that the first time i faced him he never even got up after bein staggered, i used sazh, lightning, and i believe snow but fang is better. Just buff and debuff first than use tri disaster and cerberus and he'll go down pretty easily but if you do happen to have trouble with your health goin down heal and if you don't have enough than train
