Crisis Core Fight between the three

Please keep the thread on topic, if you want to discuss the fight between Zack and Sephiroth then feel free to make a thread, if there isn't one already, thanks =]
 
Its definatly my favourite. I remeber when I first caught a sneak peak and it made me want to watch more and play the game there and then. I was gutted when I realised that I would have to wait so long for it.

I think that the music and the dialouge is excellent and the motion capture is spot on. Plus I think all three characters got to show some epic moves.
 
This fight is easily my second favorite fight scene of all time, the first being the fight someone mentioned earlier between Leon and Krauser in RE4. I loved the dialogue, and I especially loved it when Sephiroth and Genesis got serious.

I really enjoyed this scene, one of my favourites from Crisis Core. Though I almost felt as if it was building up to a climax that never really occurred... Or that the climax didn't satisfy the build up? Nonetheless, I loved the scene.

EDIT: Re-watched the scene, and completely forgot that they used my favourite score in there. I had a lapse in judgement... it is the second best scene in the game.

Does Sephiroth have his own version of Blade Beam? After watching that, the part were Genesis has him in the fireball and sends Angeal flying, Sephiroth sends those beams that chop up the cannon.....
 
I don't know... Is it Draw Slash? Or am I thinking about something else?

Anyway, this rated as one of my top fmv's ever. Simply put, final fantasy battles such as this one are simply epic because of the massive amounts of "skill" and moves that just make you say "Oh Snap". Not to mention it's technically sound, so you don't have many dodgy camera angles that detach you from the action and detract from the scene's appearance.
 
The best of all the fights that is made from Square-Enix. I love that fight very much. I even leave a save slot before the cutscene so that I could watch whenever I want. I like the part where Genesis says, :"The world needs a new hero..", I was like, woah, I love Genesis after that.
 
i felt that the cut scene was a little too generous to Angeal and Genesis. The fact that they could all of a sudden keep pace with Sephiroth was just stupid to me.

Time and again Sephiroth is shown as the most powerful of the 3 and just all of a sudden, Genesis is on par.

dont get me wrong i loved the fight scene, but it just didnt make sense to me how 2 failed experiments could fight the non-literal son of Jenova.

I really liked all 3 of those characters,
sephiroth being my favourite,
but only by a little,
it was done nicely and i enjoyed watching it,
thank goodness for youtube.

Anything can happen. Maybe the three of them are the same? In a way that makes them friends.

Reminds me of my buddies. We all act in completely different ways, but we are friends somehow.

That cutscene was no doubt freakin amazing I loved the one winged angel in the background for the music and I have to agree that its one of the best fights ever in final fantasy. I thought genesis got so strong when he said the world needs a new hero but sephiroth still beat him because angeals sword cut him.
 
I love the scene, the animation, the choreography for realism (if anyone noticed that even Sephiroth had to use his right arm briefly on the back of his blade to help repel a direct attack hit from Genesis), the feeling at first that they were just playing around having fun that was indicated in the classical music, then when Genesis 'playing' rough and told Angeal to stand back for the next sparing match the music changed to a more rock theme, then when it got a bit too personal the music changed again to the famous One Winged Angel theme that indicated that 'play time' is over and when Angeal intervened, Sephiroth backed off but Genesis pushed too hard that he got hurt.

Then the aftermath of the training room being destroyed and Sephiroth getting lectured later by Angeal. ... despite that incident, it was like family in a way, don't you think?
