Final Fantasy & Age

A game must have a variety of characters, not only teenagers, not only old people. For example, FFVII has variety. Cloud, Tifa and Aeris are young (Yuffie is even a teenager), but Vincent is 27, Barret and Cid are around 40.
The opposite is for FFVIII, everyone is young (17/18). But I think it's good for that plot.
When I played FFVIII I was 12, characters of 17 years old looked very attractive for me.
Now I'm near 17, but nothing's changed. I still love them, and I'll always do it. Obviously, I don't like only joung characters. For example, I love Auron. He rocks ;)
 
Also the other things with young characters is that they could piss older gamers off.........most people don't really wanna see the "kiddie" parts of Final Fantasy it may be popular among the japanese culture but I guess here in the west/europe we don't exactly like none of that!But really I don't think we can do nything about that!

But most of the annoying characters are the young ones.....especially the cheery ones like Vanille,Rikku,Yuffie etc,however other young people like Cloud,Lightning and Squall are more appreciated.
