Yes, and I am enjoying it very, very much! :yay:

Well I don't get to play much these days (usually weekends are my only gaming days) so I'm only about 7.5 hours in, and around halfway through (I think; never played IV before!) Just fought Cagnazzo a few minutes ago. Looks like you're way ahead of me!

Oh yeah, and what's that font you're using? It looks epic in the context of FFIV! (Yes, I know how to change fonts on iOS)

If you look in Cydia, I'm pretty sure the font is called Dark Crystal font used with Bytafont.

I've been playing for awhile. I attend an online university for B.S. of Science in Mobile Development and we are still on our break. I've been playing through break. Otherwise, I don't have much time to play often either.

Cagnazzo was pretty easy. One recommendation I do have...level up as often as you can before proceeding to your next quest. That will help you through the completion of the game.

I'm really close at the end of the game. I can't beat Barbariccia. She keeps kicking my ass....Lol

Android version is slated for Q1 2013 release. Hopefully soon, now! Not like we got much warning with the iOS version, so it could very well just pop up one day.

Cool, thanks!

Well, he destroyed me, but I wasn't expecting another boss fight. For the most part I haven't leveled my characters up very hard though, so I'm not too surprised. I had to grind for a few minutes to defeat Scarmiglione, but it wasn't too difficult.

I am currently up to Dr Lugae at the Tower of Babil. I haven't had time to play it much as I have been busy but I have never played FF4 before. Cecil is lvl 50 and the others around 35-40 :)

No problem! I found this for you real quick. I hope it helps.

Cagnazzo

As soon as the battle begins, have someone cast "Slow" on your enemy. Then, if the enemy uses "Slow" on your party, have Tellah cast "Haste" on all your members (you'll have to repose his MP by using an "Ether"), and continue by casing "Thundaga", which should be complemented it with Palom's "Thundara". Both Cecil and Yang (be sure to equip him with claws that have an electrical effect, before the battle takes place) should stick to physical attacks, while Porom should be your party's healer, inevery sense of the word, as he should be the one getting rid of all status effects and increasing everyone's HP, when the need to such an action arises. If you follow these actions, and provided your characters are strong enough to cause a lot of damage easily, your enemy will be down in no time, and you'll spare yourself a lot of trouble.

Tower of Babil is pretty awesome! The Doc is funny as well! Just wait and see what you end up running into. Good luck! I would suggest leveling quite a bit more until you reach the doc by the way.

Tower of Babil

Items to FindUnicorn Horn, Silver Hourglass, Ogrekiller, Lilith's Kiss, Ashura, 10,000 Gil, Hi-Potion.
Map Reward(s)Bomb Fragment x5, Bomb Crank x3, Red Fang, X-Potion x3, Elixir, Elixir, Ether x2.
EnemiesBlack Lizard, Coeurl, Ghost Knight, Sorcerer, Mad Ogre, Lamia, Balloon, Mystery Egg, Storm Anima, Lamia Matriarch, Green Dragon, King of Eblan, Queen of Eblan, Rubicante (boss).
Suggested LevelEveryone should be well into the 40's, closer to 50 by the time the tower is completed. You just got Edge, so he'll likely start in the mid-to-late 30s and progress quickly from there.
As soon as you enter the Tower of Babil, head forward along the linear pathway. Cecil will remark that the party can't enter the tower, but Edge allows the party to get in. As soon as you're inside, go leftward to grab theUnicorn Horn from the treasure chest, then continue to circle around the linear pathway leftward, then southward, then rightward. Don't enter the door you come across immediately - instead, continue rightward, then upward to the treasure chest holding the Silver Hourglass there. Then, head back to the door and through it to access the next floor in the tower. You should earn five Bomb Fragments for easily completing this map for 100%.

Here, head forward, and then head rightward along a linear path. A bridge will extend to the south halfway across this area as you head leftward. At the bottom of the bridge is a treasure chest full of monsters. Fend off the monsters to acquire the Ogrekiller, which you can equip on either Kain or Cecil if you so desire. Then, head back up to the main path, continue heading leftward, then southward, and then go through the door you come across to gain access to the third story of the tower. Three Bomb Cranks will be your reward for a completed map here.

Once up here, head southward and then eastward. Pass the door you come across for just a second and grab a Lilith's Kiss from the treasure chest you come across to the east of the door. Then head back to the door and go through it to get to the fourth floor of the tower. Here, don't head left (except to complete the map), but instead, head right and then northward, following the linear pathway. As the pathway begins to head westward, make sure to stop and grab the Ashura from the treasure chest, which you should equip on Edge in lieu of one of the Kunai swords already equipped on him. Then, simply follow along the rest of the linear corridor to a door leading back to the third floor of the tower.

Go rightward, ignoring the pathway leading down to the blue orb-like thing (it's nothing, unless you want to fill your map up of course), and instead, enter the first of the two doors you come across on the far right side of the room. In this room, you'll find a save area so you can save your game and heal your party. The adjacent door will bring you to another small room where you must simply take the alternate door. You'll be rewarded for (finally) filling this map in with a lone Red Fang. Head into the only other door thereafter.

You're almost to where you need to be. As you head southward, filling in this new map, you'll eventually be forced to swing leftward. Don't go northward at the first chance you get, but rather continue to your left, exploring the two other paths that swing northward. One is a dead end, but the other will have a treasure chest containing 10,000 Gil. After grabbing the cash, you can then head back to the only unexplored northern passageway, where you'll run into the King and Queen of Eblan. In this pseudo-boss battle, you'll have to do nothing but survive. Attack them with regular attacks (they'll attack with only Fire and Fira spells). This is all about story, not about killing them. They'll eventually come to their senses and say goodbye to Edge before disappearing, leaving the final Elemental Fiend, Rubicante, in their wake. And just like that, you're thrust into battle with him. But there's good news -- he'll heal you! (Keep in mind that after the battle, you should fill the rest of the map up before going to the Crystal Room to receive three X-Potions for your inventory.

Boss XVI. Rubicante

Rubicante can be a challenge if you don't understand his method of fighting. He comes in two forms (much like his other Elemental Fiend friends), and it's how and when you attack him that will determine whether or not you survive the battle. While casting Shell (and Protect) on the entire party is a good idea, it won't be necessary if you go about things right. Rubicante's weakness, as a fire-based foe, is in water and ice. But when his cloak is wrapped around him, attacks of any kind will cause counterattacks that will brutalize your party, mostly in the form of Inferno, which can wipe out your entire party in one blow easily.

How do you go about combating this? It's simple, really. When Rubicante has himself wrapped up in his cloak, hold your attacks. Use this opportunity to heal your party and fortify their various statuses. Then, when Rubicante opens himself up, unleash everything you have. Rydia's Shiva summon will do massive damage, so unleash that posthaste. Also, have Kain jump, while Cecil should attack normally and Edge should do the same (if you don't have Shurikens to throw -- if you do, opt to use those instead). Rubicante will counter with Fira with his cloak open, a much more manageable situation for you. But if Inferno does knock out a majority of your party, you can have Rubicante revive your party by casting Fire on him. Weird, but true!

When Rubicante is defeated, he'll retreat (for now). Suddenly, some Eblan officials come in through the door and confront the party. When they ask where Rubicante is, the party informs him that he's been defeated for now. After Edge resolves to join the party on their journey to stop Golbez, the party will work their way into the crystal room. But a trap will send them flying down to a story below.

Make your way southward, and then through the door at your left. Here, simply run upwards and through another door. Once down at the bottom of this area, you can head either left or right. First, head right and upward to a treasure chest holding a Hi-Potion. Then, head leftward and up through a door. This will bring you to the airship hangar. Your team now has an airship in the Underworld. Sweet! (For completing the various maps on the way down, you should be rewarded with a couple of Elixirs and two Ethers).

Yer well I will grind the others, Cecil at 50 I think is adequate but when they level up so will he eventually so it is a win win situation.

(UPDATE)
Added 30 more images! Enjoy!

Just beat Boss XVIII-XXI. The Elemental Archfiends! It took me quite a few tries but I finally just went all out and gave those Archfiends everything I had! Worked like a charm!
